I like how it freaks out at you if you’re moving faster than about 20mph, and the only option is “I’m a passenger”. What if you’re Usain Bolt? 
I mean, CP is directly calculated off of the pokemons base stats like this:
CP = MAX(10, FLOOR(Stamina^0.5 * Attack * Def^0.5 / 10))
What this means is, things like speed don’t even factor into the equation (and is supposed to be reflected in the speed they actually attack, though thats likely not working and tied just to the move itself).
The lower CP pokemon just have lower base stats, but they need to give them something else unique that really makes them stand out; butterfree should be able to paralyze the opponent so that it can’t hurt any of the attackers for a moment, for instance; this would open up support type pokemon to have a place.
Or something like the special move they use being Swords Dance, increasing that pokemons attack so long as its out, meaning it might start weaker but can grow into a powerhouse and start to steamroll opponents.
Im sure this is just version 1 when it comes to the battle system just to get something viable out the door

BaseStamina = 2 * Hp
BaseAttack = 2 * ROUND(Atk^0.5 SpA^0.5 + Spe^0.5)
BaseDefense = 2 * ROUND(Def^0.5 SpD^0.5 + Spe^0.5)
So it looks like speed does come into effect in these base numbers somewhat
All the updates are to tone down bots since they can’t stop them, they’re still failing though.
I have at least 10 Pokemon that are above 2k CP now. Only one gym I couldn’t take. It was a level 5 with a retarded 3.2k Dragonite. If you’re gonna cheat, at least don’t make it obvious. Top 3 rarest with that high cp. He must have got banned with the others cause he hasn’t popped up for ages and he’s actually a local.

There was a thread on reddit saying level 32 is not possible right now and they proved it with all the math and stuff. That was about a week ago I think.

Was that math also including using lucky eggs? I feel like those levels are possible if you are always using lucky eggs and live in a big city. Also has anyone else been experiencing a good amount of their pokemans evolving to be xs? Is this a bug of some kind right now? One more thing for those of you with pokemans over 2000, are yall evolving to that high or using stardust? I’m level 21 and my 600 eevee came out to a 1580 vaporeon.

Well it’s probably level 34 or 35 now. But the xp required at that levels is massive

My Casual ass hit level 20 finally last night. Pokedex is at like 91/95, but I have like 5 new evolutions I’m waiting to pull the trigger on (ninetails, golduck, persian, charmeleon, electrode) and a few Im really close on (Magneton, raichu, Machamp, Omanyte) to bump that up over 100.
Still not really feeling gym battles, occasionally I’ll take down a gym and put up something mediocre so my kids can defeat it and have fun, but thats really it
Gym battles is boring, I just try to take a few on the way from work that are next to each other for daily Pokecoins. However if it’s over level 3, I’m not wasting my time.
No point taking the gyms because it’s guaranteed to be gone tomorrow, even if you had a hacked 4000 cp Dragonite.
Two things I’ve recently found out about playing pokemon go that can help everyone. One thing I just found out on my own. And the other on my own just by trying it.
One is if your pokemon is ko’ed and can evolve don’t waste a revive on it. Just evolve it and it will be revived with full hp.
Two if your pokemon is ko’ed power it up. It will be revived with one or two hp.
FINALLY caught a Dratini yesterday in Santa Monica. I really want to know where niggas be getting all of these Dratinis at for Dragonites though.

There used to be Dratini spawns once upon a time, before they fucked up.
One random day, all the pokemon nests shifted down by 1 pokemon. Since Dratini was at the top, it went down to no spawns. Im still convinced this was an off by 1 error on the server lol.
