Pokemon General Discussion Thread - It's Lit(ten)!

Ok added you.

Reading all these post my reaction @_@. I’m soo green when it comes to sets.

That fucking sucked.

I’m gonna upload the very first time I did her, the match I mean.

My second time was even easier

Whats a good replacement for greninja on my team

Everyone starts somewhere. What makes it easy is what you want go build. The beauty of pokemon is the huge variety and choices you have.

Added you man. My FC is 3153-4603-1058.

Seconding that Venusaur*(Especially Mega Venu)* is a bawse in the rain. Fire types can’t do shit, and any Water type that wants to get slick and use Ice Beam has to deal with Thick Fat and that massive bulk shitting on that idea and then getting smacked by dat Giga Drain/Leech Seed/Sleep Powder.

Added.

Congrats on the Hoppip

If you’re still online then I can hop online really quick.
Edit: Going to bed but we can trade in the morning

Currently, I run Trevenant, Malamar, Scolipede, Breloom, and Volcarona. What should I change to decide upon a sixth? Also, does anyone have a Super Luck Togepi?

Shiny Greninja :coffee:

Man that 6 IV Ditto changes everything. Only took me 10 Eggs to get a 5 IV Rotom.

Yes I can now spend more time battling.

Which reminds me… gotta start putting 6v6 teams together. Battle Spot has failed to size up to me with only two exceptions.

I would recommend Gyrados the biggest threats to the rest of your team are flare blitz, eq, and any good fighting type move Gyrados gobbles those up Sets up Dragon Dance and Proceeds to wreak havoc. The only issue with Gyrados is that the poke that is going to terrorize your team the most, Infernape, also pretty much always runs Thunder-punch meaning either way if Infernape shows up your gonna have a bad time.

thanks for the advice

I forgot to sign up for one lol…

@EveryFlowerFlow

Mind, putting me on the list?

can someone help me evolve my gurdurr
edit nevermind

you have a massive weakness to fire, like a really freaking huge weakness to fire, if possible you would want to run heatran but if not, run a water type cause you seriously need it

and then i’d replace malamar with a spinner/defogger for volcarona cause he really needs those hazards to go away and malamar isn’t good at all

i also don’t think you really need scolipede, breloom has priority and spore so speed isnt’ an issue for him, trev is a tank, and volcarona can boost up her own stats no problem making scolipede essentially useless, and by replacing him, you remove another fire and flying weakness from the team (as talonflame will have a fucking field day with this team), so here is my proposed change

trevenant, rotom-w or heatran, breloom, volcarona, garchomp, excadrill

trevenant and heatran have excellent synergy with each other, resisting the others weaknesses (for the most part), trev also has great synergy with rotom-w, they completely shut down your biggest weakness in talonflame

garchomp gives you a revenge killer and a late game sweeper so that your team doesn’t entirely rely on volcarona for late game stuff, and he compliments volcarona’s special attacks with his own physical attacks

excadrill provides you with the spinner, which you want since you got volc on the team, he also beats many spin blockers and can set up rocks for your team, being a steel type automatically makes him great with garchomp and he resists flying attacks which your team is pretty weak to

while obviously not perfect, i feel this team would help support volcarona much better than the team you had before (since you have a team with volcarona on it, it automatically becomes the star of the team, there is no getting around this), any other changes would be changing either breloom or trevenant for something else that isn’t weak to flying

hope this helps

Starmie? Water/spinner

does anybody know if theres any risk of losing the poke you are trying to clone when you do the trade clone thingy?
