Which is why I like to compare the method to that of someone who just camps in Call of Duty and doesn’t budge until they’re forced, which results in the person just camping again on a different part of the map. Rinse and repeat until desired results.

The difference is in CoD you choose to move through an area that may have a person hiding and waiting for you while in Pokemon taking a turn is mandatory. In CoD you can see that you were killed because somebody was waiting for you to walk into an area, and can adjust your gameplay accordingly right then and there but in Pokemon lots of times you just have to take the loss and try to rework your team to be able to fight it better next time.

I would say the MAIN difference is which charizard stone you want X gives you a physical dragon dance sweeper thats neutral/ resistant to all but 3 types y gives you a damn scary special sweeper that retains zards bogus typing but gains great special defenses and initiates weather so he can add to the team as a weather user as well. Other wise with the PSS GTS and Wondertrade finding any version exclusive pokes is usually just a matter of asking someone.

seems more people bought x over y, s version xclusives would be easier for y players to get (although gts kinda negates that)

so i think it comes down to which of the mega evolutions you like better really
