Well it’s because he puts in work against a team with Scizor.
Virizion is resistant to vacuum wave, sucker punch, and aqua jet. He’s neutral to Bullet punch and extremespeed. He also has good health and defenses.
Nothing in the game does as good against priority as motherfucking Virizion.
He’s epic fail against anything with Talonflame or Bravebird Skarmory.
I kind of noticed that runaway sweeping is no longer as much of a thing as it was in older games. When I got my moxie Gyarados love on, there was no stopping me.
They need to let Metagross learn swords dance.

GG @Martian Just a little advice, focus on not sharing weaknesses with more than 2 Pokemon on a team. Anymore shared weaknesses and that means half or more of your team is vulnerable to being swept.
He needs Thunder/Icepunch back. Clear Body is a fantastic ability and has come in handy many times. Filter wouldn’t be too bad either.

Is there something that affects the potency of Confuse Ray? It has worked literally once for me today out of the several battles I’ve had. Which is actually more often than it works for me usually.
Nope. It’s just a straight 50/50. Remember this is Pokèmon, where 30% chance of status feels more like 50%, and 80% accuracy feels more like 60% and Full Paralysis feels like 50% when it’s 25%.
I’m kind of relieved Gamefreak didn’t give Mega Gyarados Strong Jaw, that would be pretty scary.
I think I’m starting to realize that the more I play this game competitively, the more I get burned out…
Stop trying to win. Seriously, this game has too much bullshit(German Koffing rules or not) to be worried about winning all the time…
I feel like this game competitively is about coming up with a strategy you enjoy using, building a team around said strategy, and tweaking it through battle until it works. Accept the fact that there IS NO PERFECT TEAM, and you can still have fun.
Unless you believe in a ban-less metagame, then you get talked down to and told that you have no idea what you’re talking about… While Genesects and Deoxys run around wild and free…

by smogon terms and quite a few of us here, yes
mega kangaskhan literally 2HKOs everything, including those cover legendaries when set up properly
blaziken has the ability to either sweep everything, or let another pokemon sweep easily
by smogon, they were deemed to do so with too much ease, giving the user a large advantage over the opponent, forcing the opponent to run specific strategies in order to claim victory (like always running azumarill for blaziken)
mega kangaskhan is banned by smogon, blaziken is not (although i feel it should be but that’s for another topic)
I’m not the kind of guy that gets all pissed off just because he lost. I expect to lose, and more often than not I do. In fact I pretty much never beat any of you guys, lol. What gets me pissed off is just some of the cheap, blatant, and simply mundane shit people will do just to win. The biggest offender being those who choose to turn a match into a 30 minute stalling fest. Trust me, my favorite thing about this game is making strategies and testing them out. But it’s not fun against stallers because stalling can work against pretty much anything.
Albeit, a viable strategy indeed. I mean, it works, so why not use the method? I just seem to run into this as well as similar tactics all the time and I feel like I’m not learning anything. Which is why I like to compare the method to that of someone who just camps in Call of Duty and doesn’t budge until they’re forced, which results in the person just camping again on a different part of the map. Rinse and repeat until desired results.
I may be the minority on this, but I just don’t see how it’s fun for either player to be in that situation, lol.
And no White Shadow, this isn’t just because of your Florges…although it is a factor.
