Trying to build a Tyrantrum deck. But idk how the hell I’m going to pull it off with all the crap I need, most of it coming from FF.
I haven’t bought any furious fists. Not enough I need out of them to buy packs or boxes.
I’m running toad/techs and Virizion/Genesect.
I was going to build The buddy system (Magmortor and Electevire) I just couldn’t find a list I like.
The November set is going to be brutal.
I think i got some jaw fossils and tyantrums. Ill check when i get home.
I just saw a toad/victrebell/draigegle poison lockdown deck which was pretty good. Dont know much about phantom force set. What does it have in store for us?
Yeah. I’m not building something that gimmicky. Too clunky I’ve been bouncing back from toad/Garbador and toad/pyroar lock down decks.
No matter the roll its in, that damn toad is good regardless. Garbador/ toad slows down alot of the stuff ive seem. That new set looks interesting. Will read further when i get home. @saitsu how does the rotation usually work? And how often?
Rotation is every year. Usually 3-5 sets.
Next rotation will either be plasma-on, or legendary treasures-on. I’m beyond pissed that rotation is BCR-on.
Toad/Garbodor is great but it gets shut down to near auto loss if Virizion/Genesect get set up turn 2. Which is why people have been running it was easy techable fire pokemon like Victini ex, charizard ex (not stoke. Garbage card), blue flare Reshiram or pyroar to wall out Virizion/Genesect.

Hmm, Yanmega has potential. 100 Damage at the least for 3 Colorless every time it comes off the bench. There’s a deck idea there.

Oh god, Leavanny plus Garbodor would be shenanigans. Thank god it’s Stage 2.

Pyroar has a solid ability…however it’s not the previous Pyroar so…meh. Still, a lot more reliable of a Red Signal.

Feraligatr doing 160 for 4 if the opponent has any damage counters. Also potential there. Wide open for Yveltal/Mewtwo devastation though.

Hmm, Alomomola could be a good lead. 100 HP Basic that can heal and duck out for 1 Water.

Well, Manectric EX is decent since Muscle Band/Silver Bangle and Float Stone is everywhere.

Mega Manectric…normally meh for a Mega…but Spirit Link and Battle Compressor could make it relevant.

Gengar EX aka Donphan for Psychic but not as deadly plus is an EX which can be an issue.

Chandelure is very interesting. Has Destiny Bond essentially (though on a coin flip, which is fair). Plus Cursed Drops is similar to the other Chandelure, just in attack form instead of ability form.

Malamar EX is pretty mean. Consistent sleep inducer, and that attack can be deadly teamed up with Victini.

Florges EX potentially hitting for 120 for 2 Energy is crazy. Add being able to search Supporters and you have a beast. Only downside is her lower than average HP for an EX.

Slurpuff, extra draw. Not bad.

Hydreigon, a MUCH slower Dark Patch. Meh.

…not exactly sure the purpose of Target Whistle other than teaming with a Red Signal/Lysandre to potentially nail another EX when the opponent is napping. Seems pretty niche though.

Battle Compressor aka triple Foolish Burial in Poke form. This would be great if Dark Patch were still around. However Blacksmith still is, and Flareon can get some use from it.

Manectric Spirit Link aka…just a way to get by the Mega Evo rule. It could get Mega Manectric there, maybe.

Jamming Net aka Reverse Muscle Band. It’s interesting for sure but I don’t see it seeing the play that Muscle Band does.

Now Head Noiser I can see. Forcing things like Mewtwo to not just sit on a DCE could be potentially huge, making you waste extra turns and resources getting it ready on top of making anything that attacks more susceptible to your own Mewtwo/Yveltal.

Xerosic I like a lot. Not as powerful as Startling Megaphone and it’s a Supporter at that, but being able to nail either a Special Energy or a Tool can be huge with DCE, Strong Energy, Muscle Band and Float Stone running around. It’ll always be relevant. If it wasn’t a Supporter it’d be broken.

Dimensional Valley…meh all considering. Though I think a Gengar EX deck will be a thing and this could be very good in it but at the same time…you’d want Virbank to really make Gengar’s attack hurt.

Mystery Energy is very interesting but again, I’m not seeing a ton of straight Psychic decks that will do the job outside of a potential Gengar EX deck…and he doesn’t need the reduced Retreat Cost because it can switch out anyway.

How about Aegislash EX? Prevents ALL Damage done to it by any Pokemon with Special Energy. Those Lando EX/Luc EX decks will have freaking fits.

Seems to be cheaper than the alternative, plus I see some potential there.
