Sorry I haven’t been on as much with work and all currently breeding adamant Growlithes got one from WT with Close Combat and Flare Blitz <3 the person who sent that too me. Also was sent a Ralts with Shadow Sneak will work on him next.
To learn how to be competitive in this game is a bit much. I loved the catching of Pokemon but now that I’ve beaten it I think I’m kinda done. I miss red.
Yeah. Rotom-w is the bane of my sandstorm team. As much as I love the raw power of marowak, I’m gonna probably switch to gastrodon.

Hah, ya I messed up and wanted to bring in pinsir not mamo into marowak but with Rotom I couldn’t really lose.
Not really. It’s not like every Pokemon could afford to use it as a hold item. Missing Leftovers/Life Orb/Lum Berry can be a real detriment.
That type of item would make ice pokemon more viable, but the consequences of Talonflame/Charizard X&Y/Volcarona being able to switch with impunity sounds like it would really suck.
At the same time, ice and flying types getting more of a fighting chance sounds good to me…
flying type is the 3rd most common OU type…they don’t need another buff
If you told me in 2009 that Blaziken, Charizard, and Kangaskhan would be top tier threats, I would have laughed you out of the room… Now two of them are Uber-class(according to some) and Zard is raping faces without having to rely on Belly Drum…

If you brought in pinsir, it was gonna get ohko. I still had another turn of light screen up. By the time rotom hit the screen, I had no protection. No sandstorm, no light screen, no trick room. Nothing. Lol. I should’ve started off with sword dance when I brought in excadrill. I thought I could take a hydro pump.

can somebody help me out, im pretty new to the whole breeding thing and was breeding some egg moves onto a poke for the first time ever today, anyway i got my 2 egg moves onto a male poke, and started breeding for IVs, when i noticed the eggs were coming out without the egg moves. sure enough the poke had levelled up enough that it had erased his egg moves, so i had to go back to the move relearner to get the egg moves back on him.
am i going to have to do this shit every time a poke levels up enough or is there a way to help prevent it? its gonna be annoying as fuck when i have to switch the male parent once their IVs are improved by new offspring.
pinsir resists ground and can OHKO with return after the rocks and residual damage it took. I haven’t ever seen a marowak run SD though.
That should only happen if you take them out of the daycare… did you change parents at all at any point during breeding? If so, then yes, everytime you take one out, you’ll have to get the egg moves back, but if you have both male and female offspring with said moves, you should just swap those in instead of burning heart scales unnecessarily.
hmm i may have taken them out to look at their IVs to see which ones they had. so as long as you leave them in there they will still pass down the egg moves even if they level up a bunch?
Yep. As long as you don’t take them out, they will continue to pass down the moves they had when you put them in.

I had stone edge waiting. Marowak already danced too. Best thing to hope for would be a miss. Marowak + thick club + swords dance = I’m killing everything I hit neutral. Thick club doubles marowaks base attack. I got mine at 256. Double that. Then add the SD.
Yeah. That’s why I like it. I always put it in after trick room because it’s slow as hell. It’s defenses are ok.
But i keep getting run over by rotom-w. hydro pump just… It rapes my whole team. I have to hope hydro pump misses.

Well my hydro did miss its first target was the bad news and it still got 3 I think. Ya I more meant I would bring pinsir in when marowak was about 60%~ HP and just quick attack it for the kill since Aerilate is ridiculous. Sacking mamo turned out to not mean anything in the end though. I really didn’t expect it to have SD lol. I figured I would force the switch with aegis but that back fired a bit. If there was a way to increase trick rooms length maybe it would be better.
