Thanks to the whole Shiny Value fiasco I’ve seen so many shinies that I’m desensitized to most, except for the actually cool looking ones like Shiny Mega Gardevoir.
Considering all of Kanga’s AOE moves don’t hit twice in Doubles…it’s pretty much a confirmation that they only actually care about Doubles.

I’d only run Dusknoir over Dusclops for that 100 Base Attack… which it can boost through Power-Up Punch… Hmm… Imprison shenanigans would be hilarious to try on the Kangaroo’s standard set, but oops, those lames banned it on the simulator, lol.

I do think Fat Ghost is cool, but I like Dusclops’ design better.
I was fairly certain that GameFreaks, like Nintendo, don’t give a shit about people playing their games as high level competitions.
Actually, GameFreak has always been supportive of Pokemon competition, just not of the sort that Smogon promotes… Which is why 3on3 Singles and now Doubles have been the formats of choice for the official competitions, and the only reason I could see for Stealth Rock still existing in its current form, lol.
They do listen and cater to the wishes of the fanbase ever so slightly-- Hence the nerfs to Steel and Dragon in the form of reduced resistances and the Fairy type respectively, and the massive nerfs Sleep status took; i.e. 1-3 turn Sleep, Grass immunity to Spore, Overcoat buff, Safety Goggles, more Sap Sippers, etc.
If only Safety Goggles protected you from field hazards as well, that would’ve been sex.
