If the day care says that they don’t like each other very much, the two mons can still breed; it just means that they have the same trainer ID, and thus your chance of getting an egg within x amount of steps is lower. If you have two mons with different trainer IDs, they’ll say “the two seem to get along.”
If two mons can’t breed, it’ll say “The two prefer to play with the other pokemon rather than each other.” Otherwise, you’re good to go.

im trying to get a zubat with the hidden ability but im having trouble identifying which of the 5 in the swarm actually has the ability and which dont.
ive got a poke with sweet scent to attract the swarm, and ive got a couple kirlias both with trace but i have no idea which pokemon it traces the ability of when they are sent out.
I think if you can get a mon with simple beam, that can help. You see the ability the mon orginally had just before it displays it swapping to simple.
@HyperShieldSlash mind if we work out a trade for one of those zubats? Are they jolly with infiltrator?

There are enough Pokes with Quad Weaknesses where it can still play a decent role. Plus there’s always Protean Greninja who goes LOL STAB Hidden Power.
