If you just after standard gligar they are horde encounters on route 19 average about 1 and 4 encounters way easier to catch than arboks which I lost count.
So I was trying to evolve a Hitmontop today, and I just noticed…
What the fuck happened to the old evolution animation? I’ve gone through three Hitmonchans now, and I have no clue what I’m going to get. That animation going between sprite 1 and sprite 2 would’ve made this so much easier.
When Tyrogue hits level 20 his attack and defense determine what hitmon-branch they evolve into, so check it before the battle ends if he wasn’t already out when he leveled.
The new animation is a bit odd, I wonder what their reasoning behind changing it was?
I should check this stuff before I play. I thought it was Defense and Special Defense.
Defense - Hitmonchan
Attack - Hitmonlee
Balanced - Hitmontop
Just give it vitamins depending on which Evo you want, then Rare Candy it up.
So I still haven’t downloaded the newest update…can you still do the time machine breeding method where you can soft reset your game to predict which values get inherited?
Well. I’ve decided. I’m going to go through and raise at least one of every fully-evolved, or Eviolite-worthy mon in the game (not legendaries though). Yes, including the likes of Beedrill, Farfetch’d, Delibird, etc, mons I doubt anyone would ever consider using.
…so yeah, I’ll probably be busy for a while.

Man really feeling a tightness in my boxes now, perfectly good mons getting tossed to make room for breeding, even been doing shit like just tossing anything that don’t come out with at least 4IVs, hope the bank turns up soon.
Farfetch’d isn’t as ass as Beedrill. Farfetch’d gets STAB Wing Attack and Cut.
Don’t underestimate the power of Crit-Hax Farfetch’d. With a Stick it Criticals at least 50% of the time, putting its power on par with such powerful mons as Pidgeot and Noctowl, lol…

Guaranteed crits on Slash. If that wasn’t enough to strike fear into the hearts of Smogon, it gets STAB. Aegislash move out of the way, Farfetch’d is here.
Bitches don’t know bout dat Red Card Caterpie. Red Card Caterpie is one of the best Smashpass recipients, as it gets Electro Web, and STAB Bug Bite.

Trying to fill out my Pokédex… I started with the hardest part first- Legendary Pokémon trading without Pokébank access… Good God, the GTS is terrible for searching…
Everyone wants 6 IV Shinies or Event Legends, which is stupid because you CAN’T PUT FUCKING EVENT LEGENDS ON THE GTS… They are untradeable, which makes anyone asking for them a complete, unmitigated fool *(or at the very least a small child who doesn’t know any better)

Anyone know how to breed pursuit on to Larvitar? I figured it work with Cranidos but the day care says they don’t like each other. I’m clueless.

"They seem to get along" - Medium breeding, two pokemon of the same species and same owner OR two pokemon of different species and different owners
"They like each other a lot" - Fastest breeding, two pokemon of the same species from different owners
“They prefer to play with other Pokemon instead of each other” - Pokemon cannot breed
