I know it’s not THAT big of an issue, but I also know that I’m not the only one who has this problem…
The avatar-changing crap has been broken for awhile now, and it comes and goes in terms of it actually working. Whenever I try to change it, it either doesn’t change the one I have currently or it changes it to one I had uploaded like, 4 months ago. I don’t get why this hasn’t been fixed yet. Is it that hard of an issue to rectify? I’m not even raging, I’m really just confused on this. o_O
I just found a really cool pic I wanted to use for my avatar, but Vito’s face keeps showing up whenever I try to upload a new photo…
I think I figured it out. If it doesn’t change your av right away, then wait at least 24 hours. Usually changes by the next day.
Mine only changes in the popup. The actual AV that shows up next to posts was supposed to have been deleted a while ago.
Changing av’s slowly registers with the forums because of the traffic I believe. But, your picture should change within a day’s time frame.
Mine seems to be pretty subjective.
IIRC, the site is hosted on multiple servers. Sometimes, due to traffic, changes in one don’t immediately get propagated to all the servers.
