Link to vid? :wgrin:
Negative Edge: Pushing and releasing a button will count as input x2. It is to simplify combo input commands.
this please.
doesn’t that only work for specials/supers?
Yes, you cannot neg edge a normal to my knowledge.
incorrect sir. not the negative edge description but the explanation for quick demon
lp~lp+lk is kara cancel
if you do this with command displays on it would look like this
lp+lk
lp
lp being the initial button pressed
in a sense it is like pressing lp twice but the lp is hidden in the grab input
so something like **grab, jab, toward, lk, hp **would work for demon because you still are pressing 2 low punches.
but the game makes it
lp~lp+lk as 2 seperate commands.
so all it would take for a demon is lp~lp+mp forward lk+hp
you guys should really try reading the whole thread first…

I’m sorry, but I laughed SO hard at “Soory Japanese onry”
HAHAHAHAHAHA! so gay, but i get the concept, Ken I was pulling off walking demons all last night. im gonna work on this method some more and i’ll try to post up exactly what that vid was trying to explain.
oh and to NB2, You’re Welcome! lols
I hope Ken I learned the correct demon:
The demon in desora’s videos does not give Akuma any added range, but this one does.
Unless I see a vid of this I think I’m better off just timing links. I cannot use this plinking stuff at all. Although it’s most likely because my timing is off.
Dude, this really does work. I can do bisons c.lp, c.lp, c.mk, scissors almost every time now. Is that a 1, 2, or 3 frame link? Also, Chuns c.lp, c.lp, c.mk, super.
I still can’t hit one frame links consistently to save my life…after MANY hours in training mode, I honestly think my fingers are simply not fast enough.
That is ok I guess, I’m sure I will never be a tourney level player anyway, and below that, you can develop a style that doesn’t depend on tight links to do well.
gotta try this when i get home!
Everytime I try this lk comes out even though input shows I hit mk first. Are there any videos of this?
You’re hitting the link too fast. You’re supposed to pause for a split second after every button press i.e.
Down + LP
(split-second pause / you don’t have to pause here, but it helps with the timing)
Down + LP
(split-second pause)
MK~LK
cancel into Scissors (NO PAUSE after MK~LK)
Any reason why this could not be extended to a 3rd button? For example, in the cr.LPx3 st.HP chun example:
1: D + LP
2: D + LP
3: D + LP
4: HP~MP~LP
Wouldn’t this give three rapid chances at the 4th input?
so is the tsujinrai demon 100% guaranteed at SPD range?
Super is guaranteed as long as they didn’t jump before the flash
Ultra only works if the opponent tried to hit you
heres how u link everything
