Sorry mods if this is frowned upon but I wanted to reach out to the fighting game community, because i know that strength comes in numbers and also this community has done wonders for charitible events. Not only the fgc, but gamers in general. Good examples are Brolylegs and Summer Games done quick. I hope you can find it in your hearts to help my friend Tina Hillman who is also my girlfriends mom. She is a fighter. Over the course of 3 years she has fought through bone cancer, breast cancer and now may require surgery for her brain cancer. She told me she was never scared when she was diagnosed with bone cancer and breast cancer. Earlier this year the doctors diagnosed her as cancer free. But in the back of her mind the fear of the cancer returning was always there. Now she says she is scared when they told her she may need surgery for her brain cancer. On top of the current treatments she is receiving, this obviously doesn’t come at a cheap price. We need all the help we can get. Anything helps please tell your friends and family. And thank you for taking the time to read this and your support.
This is the link to her gofundme. Her son did a good job of making this for her.
I’m a good sport, you guys dont know me on a personal level so i get the jokes. I may not have the post count. But I have been to the past 4 Evos, even seen Broly’s table setup for his book. I also try to watch as many major tourneys as i can. Play as much USF4 as I can, go to local vegas tournaments. The scene here is small, but i know maybe with some effort and new blood with sf5 coming out soon it can grow. That should count for something. By posting here i was just hoping that someone would spare a buck or two. I just gave some money to a lady from a Restoritive Church (help drug addicts with food and housing along with trying to help fix their problem.) I regretted it at first, but you know what? You would be surprised to know that there are people who have become clean and held jobs. Im just ranting now. But even if my efforts by posting this here raises even one dollar it would be worth it. Thanks for reading.
