i’ve tried several results on google (hell i even tried “bing” wtf is that anyway, microsofts 5th attempt at a search engine?), newegg, memory.com, googlegear/zipzoomfly whatever it is now, buy.com, amazon.com, pricewatch.com, and several other sites. none of which are “cheap.” ebay is my best route at this point, but i’m trying to avoid it.

i’m trying to find ram to upgrade my friend’s system for his kids to use so quality is of no real concern as long as it works.

normally i’d ignore the obligatory google comment, but seeing that most of the people who registered when i did are incapable of using the forum search feature, much less google, it’s a fairly justified response. thought that i would clarify.
