No I mean Joystick movement. The LED works fine but left and right dont register in SFIII. In the 360 dash hitting either left or right goes right but that’ts it. Let me get you that writing.

Go into the config menu and move the stick around in a circle a few times. That should tell the LED controller that there’s a joystick LED in the setup.

I want to say its BX-2-181L, seriously, I cant read that shit. Your talking about the yellow one right?

Ok, I did the config. The LED works fine. Hitting the joystick left or right registers down/left. That sounds like I have something touching somewhere.

Not neccessarily. The U_IO and D_IO can be input or output; if the directions arent working, it’s likely because the LED controller is using them as output. If that isn’t working, you may want to remove wires from the U_IO and D_IO, plug it in, go into the config menu, and then reattach the U_IO and D_IO and spin the stick around. That should force it.

Yeah, I hosed it putting the board back in. I disconnected left and UP/Down/Right are working again. Left isnt working because I have the wire off. When I get it soldered all nice I think I will hit it with some glue and post back. I’ll tell you what, this is my first LED stick. My next one will be much better planned. Oh, and I have your GT-C in there. Its fuckin sweet dude.

Please, glue is a bad idea. Solder is a form of welding, glue wont help, just make any rework in the future crazy nasty to do.

Ok, got the directionals going again. I put it all together and the balltop led went out on me. The connections to U_IO and D_IO are really solid but I am going to try what you posted above. Just so I get it, remove those 2 wires, put it in config. Reattach (Im guessing while plugged in) and move the stick around to force it.

The funny thing is when I move the stick it still acts like it should turning off the screensaver, its just it isnt lighting. How much you wanna bet the LED went. Its one of those cheap Radioshack ones.

either that or you have the vcc going to ground and ground going to vcc with that LED

Nope, luckily I used different color wires for that. Its pretty clear, I am using ground on the back of the TE wiring pcb. So far the main issue was the board needed to be cleaned out. Then wires popped off. I got it all together and working and the LED just went out. I tried the above and no luck. Hoping that LED is bad, I got an extra.

Seriously, what are the odds of that. The LED went bad on me.
