Playing Hide and Go Seek in the Farcry train station is fun for a few times. I pulled that gender changing shit on a few people with my wife’s account and they just laughed.

I’ve also been playing that Namco Museum beta and I already unlocked a Galaga cabinet, a Dig Dug toy display and some new namco shirts and shorts. Truly a sweet idea to unlock Home stuff in a game and have it automatically be sent.

I went to the Japanese Home today, because I read about the new Namco and Sony rooms, and I was blown away by Japan’s Home altogether. I decided to go to the UK Home and I was equally shocked.
America’s Home is the pissest poorest version compared to the aforementioned regions. Everything seemingly is better in everyway.
BTW, does anyone know what that Love Chair is about in the Namco room? I also finally unlocked a table arcade for my home, too! :woot:

I updated then tryed to access Home and got an error message: “There has been a problem with dowloading content.”
So I’ve deleted home and am reinstalling it now. Wow… trading cool namco t-shirts and arcade machines in my apartment for beards… awesome trade off :rolleyes:
EDIT!: Don’t feel like you have to re-install home. I just tryed it reinstalled the patch and still get the error message. Maybe I broke my home account or something. More likely it’s a server error and I just have to waite
I think it’s a server error because this morning I logged onto Playstation Home in Japan and it worked perfectly fine…
I love using the Japan Home more than US only because the atmosphere is so much more laid back and to be honest, their shit looks wayy better than ours… (THEY HAVE 3 MOVIE THEATRES)
Try just launching the Namco Museum demo again. Just for kicks I checked out Home again, & after dl’ing the patch my apartment/wardrobe was set to default w/ no Namco items in my inventory. Per someone else’s suggestion, launched the demo, went back to Home, everything as it was.
Checked out the theater b/c it had a rather long trailer for the Resident Evil movie (animation doesn’t really look natural for some reason). Not one for chatting & I’d rather launch my multiplayer games fr their own in-game lobby, so not much else to do. Still, hope Home succeeds for those that do enjoy it. Not like it’s costing me anything.
EDIT: Aw damn, my bad. After a reading a bit more on it, this only seems to fix the problem until you turn off your PS3. Once you boot up, you’d have to launch the Namco demo before Home again to get your stuff back (confirmed). Guess we’re just SOL on this one :bluu:

I really hate this piece of shit, Home. It could have been awesome but you know what kills it? Not the lack of features, not the assload of glitches or false promises but the community. No one on Home games. It’s just a bunch of fucking horny kids fapping off to “females” in the game. The females are usually ALWAYS men or really old 40 year old women. I can’t have a actual conversation with anyone because every guy is literally chasing women. God forbid you ask them what games they have. NOTHING! They don’t play games! Did the people from Second Life migrate over to PS3 at the release of Home? Check to see how many people actually have Trophies on Home to be just as disappointed as I was. If bowling wasn’t so fun, I would never use this shitty program.
There are plenty of people who game that also use Home. I’ve talked to plenty people and had good discussion about random games or other PS3 features. It’s good for that it is, a social network. And what trophies are you talking about? Last I checked they hadn’t yet integrated the trophy system (via display case) in Home.
