Well I got into it last night and messed around with it for awhile. It’s okay. I think if SF4 has full Home integration then that will be badass.
Only thing I liked was the theatre.
If they get to where you can stream media into your apartment then it could be cool. If you had 4 or 5 friends in your apartment you could watch SF matches and talk about them. Then launch into a SF4 and have it automatically put you in a room w/ your friends so you could fight each other.
Also the interface to talk communicate with your friends is so much better. I can just ‘place a call’ to start voice chat with 1 person from the menu. Instead of creating a chat room from the XMB and then inviting them to the chat. Also allowing background downloading of new spaces is a very nice touch.
I just hope that Sony makes it to where when I quit any game I have the option to go back into Home. Home is a much better place to communicate with your friends than the XMB.
If they could work these features into the XMB that would be best IMO. But I think Home has some promise and I am actually impressed with what they have.
The Central Plaza looks much nicer than the closed beta Plaza. but, there still aren’t enough pool tables and bowling alleys to go around for everyone.
One major improvement I noticed was that the voice chat seemed a lot clearer than in the closed beta (I still sit around groups and listen to their conversations for fun).
There is an SRK Clubhouse? I want in. I only played for a little while this morning. Seems unbelievably sterile, but could end up being pretty worthwhile. I spent an hour trying to make my guy look like me. He still looks nothing like me.

I love how much the reviewers throw hate at this thing when it’s still an infant. The fact that it does it’s initial job well speaks volumes: To meet and greet people and to have plain, stupid fun.
