Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale Announced

Anybody got any impressions on Heihachi? I’m most interested in him and Raiden.

I’ll have to admit that I have been playing stock limit too much. Those old smash habits. I know this isn’t the same game and shouldn’t be played the same. Kill limit seems best/perfect for 2v2. But I wish there was a clear cut answer for 1v1. I can’t help but notice how much random factor is apparent when it’s FFA with items. Again, I know this isn’t the same game as smash, but that random factor was what made people go 1v1, no items, and flat stages (final destination mostly) back in the smash melee era. Right now, I feel that 1v1 is not possible in a competitive scene simply because of how turtle-y it gets. All the forever-alone players out there (including myself) will have to settle with 2v2.

Awesome UltraDavid is playing, lets play some time!

I’d also love to see another sub forum for this game.

Just gotta chill until the character subforums are up for this game. I love my sackboy, I hope the characer subf’s come up soon so discussion on meter building combos can happen quickly. Already lvl 438 with him

Ratchet has some pretty silly setups on knockdown where you can knock down then set up the electric field (whatever down+3 is called) and then do a meaty grab such that if the opponent rolls one way they land in the electric field but if they stay still or roll back they get grabbed.

I wish training mode had a record dummy feature so I could test to see if there are invincible wakeup moves or supers that will escape this stuff.

Also, I can’t think of a reason why I shouldn’t always have Mr. Zircon out. Is there some downside to him that I’m missing? Seems like you still have access to every other move except you also have a guy who builds free meter for you if the opponent is close.

Big daddy has a "set up’ for his lv1. I have no clue if it works in though.

aS2 > S3 > N3 (jump cancel) > aS3 (land), then when they are stunned you do the super and if they don’t tech down. It should hit, I think anyways.

To add to that, here’s a small Big Daddy combo video.

Just keep using it until it doesn’t work lol

Dante’s level 1 is ASS

My best set up for a level 1 is for Cole. You can do freeze blast( :f:3 ) into super. You have to be reaaaaaaaaally close to the opponent for it to hit, though, or else they get the invul. tech out and the super misses.

I can’t stop playing this guy, he’s too fun.

Surprisingly this game is getting better received than I thought. I was thinking it was going to bum hard.

But going to the store. I saw a good number of people interested in the game.
Most likely cause of smash but eh capitalize on its success is all in business.

EDIT: nvm

2v2 rank matches

Looks really hard to do since you dropped it a few times. It would say 20 then 30 then 20 then 30 again. Really good find though.

They are both good. Raiden OP and Heihachi is just good. Great level 2. Bear is fucking scary.

Fail double post

We got a sub-forum, sweet

Can anyone figure out what’s going on here? Why is it that the infinite prevention sometimes triggers and sometimes doesn’t?

The combo drops a few times as the number of AP stops increasing. But maybe in this case its similar to the FP infinite where you can easily block or roll to get out of this. The IPS is pretty weird imho.

I know it’s bad to compare this game to Smash, but looking at Sir Daniel do you think he’d be compatible with someone who spent a lot of time playing as Ike in Brawl?

Nathan Fucken’ Drake.
