Because PS3 > 360
This x2
I’ve been harassing friend about getting this game so I can play it too. This is the only time I’m sad about having a 360.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Polygon Man will use the power of Playstation to RRoD the console. He’s a dick like that.
I like them both. I’ll say Evil Cole is the better one of the two as he has better tools to land his supers than Cole.
The way I see it (aka what I heard Seth Killian say) is that Evil Cole is an aggressive character who is good at killing people, whereas Cole’s specialty lies in not getting killed himself. if you think about it it is a pretty interesting style mechanic most fighters cannot employ, and it sounds interesting for 2v2/stock battles. Cole also still has a really strong level 2 super.
Is there a meter gain cap for combos? If not then 1v1 will get stale pretty quickly once people learn combos that build 1 bar and combo into super.
Usually around 145 AP is the general cap for combos.
I hit 152 AP on a Drake combo. It gets quite hilarious.
Yeah, I’ve gotten 155 AP with Raiden off of his counter. Parappa usually caps at 145 AP.
There’s a cap. A character will automatically fall off a combo once it’s reached. From what I’ve been reading, the cap seems to be character dependent

Some cool minion combos for FP
Ok, if Heihatchi air dashes in with his neutral+1 and both hits connect it seems like a guaranteed level 1 super.
How is Spike? He’s pretty much the only reason I want to play the game. lol
I’m working on spike right now. He has some roll and dash canceable normals. Decent character, a good starter character but he could be made into more. He suffers from needing to have perfect spacing for his start to combos. However, you can bring people to you with monkeies and bannanas allowing you to use your rc car laser move which causes crumple and a free combo or super.
So not bad, but i need other people to unlock his tricks with me. He’s good for 2v2, helping to lock down part of an area so the teammate can setup a nice offensive.
So this game is very fun, no?
Worth paying $40 for?
The rules for AP Burst / Infinite Avoidance are actually very straightforward. I don’t want to spoil it for any combo engine aficionados who like figuring out that stuff on their own. But i don’t mind explaining it, if no one figures it out by … let’s say a week?
Don’t worry about spoiling. Spill the beans lol. You can put “spoiler” tags around it.
I like both Coles. It will be interesting to see a 2 v 2 with one team consisting of a Good Cole and a Evil Cole. I love Evil Cole’s Giga Punch. I mean it just sounds powerful too.

I’m loving Dante, made a short video of his stuff. Combo 3 is Maj’s and Combo 4 is a variation of it. The first 2 combos in my opinion are a bit more practical in FFA as they get your opponent in the air quicker, thus making the chances of being interrupted lower.
You can finish Maj’s combo off with a prop shredder as well as it looks stylish.
The crumple state is also a free combo into level 1. Heihachi’s level 1 is a lot better than I initially gave it credit for, although it’s mostly because no he has so many ways to combo into it, plus any time he touches you he gets a level 1 for free because literally everything turns into an IPS combo.
