Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying they’re bad. I’m just saying that versus the other 4 characters, these 2 lack IMO. Granted, I was probably doing the wrong things with Princess. Only thing I learned using her was n.S -> n.S -> u.S -> jump -> u.T was a practical 70 meter BnB lol.
Get the Boots of Hermes. Jump and air dodge. Really useful for dodging supers too.

Free for all is the worst game mode ever conceived by humans, some characters aren’t going to shine as much as they should. In a game with 1 Radec and 1 Kratos, it is impossible to combo anyone, because one of the two is going to combo break you every single time without fail and build more meter than everyone because they get more meter from single hits than anyone else. It’s why I really wish there was a 1v1.
Yeah definitely. 1v1 and from what I’ve played of 2v2 will be where the game will really shine.
Also I really wished that Sweet Tooth had his cancellable n.S in this beta version like he does in his vignette at 30s.

Once you know the timing of Radec’s sniper you can roll past them easy. Air dodge past his statis grenade stuff if he’s throwing them. Block his unsafe close attacks and you got yourself a shutdown Radec. Of course this is hard to do in FFA…
Yeah, Radec is weak in close-range combat. I still wanna learn him tho, I think its possible to survive in close quarters with him.
All of his close moves knock them back to zone them out more. They are just really unsafe. As soon as people figure out how to play the game (Block!!!) then Radec will fall in line.
I’ve found that short hop neutral square is a pretty good poke, avoids throws, and combos on hit.
OMG I hate Kratos. So annoying.
I hate the fact that another player can hit me out of my grabs. It’s infuriating when I try to take a guys meter for some other guy pressing buttons to fuck it up. Uhh.

So I am trying to download the open beta, but all I can find is the one for the plus members. also the UK version isn’t even showing up, what am I doing wrong? Or is there a certain place I am supposed to look. help!
If the open beta starts today, it will be later in the day when the store updates.
Okay, that’s what I thought. Man I am itching to play it. What do people think of it so far?
Mad fun. Hard to tell how strong of a competitive game it will be until we get our hands on more modes.
Okay cool, It seems pretty fun. I am itching to learn some tech and what not, and maybe get some team stuff going. I hope it is good enough to be a tourney level game.
It’s pretty easy to see the focus on spacing and making good reads. Plus, there’s a lot of mobility quirks that I think people aren’t picking up on yet that will make reads all the more important, like the fact that you can short jump Sweet Tooth’s flamethrower and kick him in the face for a combo. I’ve been saying it for months now, PASBR is basically KoF with a double jump and easier controls.
Well i hope you’re right. Spike looks really fun, sort of combo heavy like paraapa is. The beta has been nothing but fun.
