chun and ken are for people who want to play 3s as little as possible this is so true lol
This is a complex question. I wouldn’t waste my time on a game that I outright do not enjoy (for further reference, see Marvel, DOA, or most FPS games). That said, I do find myself making compromises.
For instance, taking competition completely out of the equation and focusing strictly on mechanics, I enjoy CvS2 just fine–but not nearly as much as 3S, A2, and the classic SF2 games. On the other hand, in the arcades I go to, CvS2 is what attracts the competition. That makes me enjoy CvS2 a lot more than the other games, to the point where I consider it my main game. Competition is the make it or break it factor to me.
In other words, the greatest fighting game in the world wouldn’t be very much fun if you had nobody good to play it with. And games that might not be intrinsically as good can be a hell of a lot of fun when you have access to great players.
im from a 3s community and yes! I do enjoy it thanks for asking.
as goodmourning says (lol at his name btw) its community that actually makes the game fun, and I dont mean a hobbie that you enjoy doing but REAL fun.
if the game is meant for 2 players and your only 1 person then wtf?
maybe you find training mode all day fun, but I dont. (well sort of)
Easily the second one.
I used to be a cvs2 player. But it’s too difficult to find local arcades with consistent players, so I picked up the next game that was widely popular around here (excluding mvc2): 3s. I’m actually liking 3s much better than cvs2 now. haha.
It’s pretty much pointless to try to improve by yourself (or with a small group of less dedicated players).
