Is playing against the CPU even worth it? What difficulties, speeds ect. do you play at? What are the advantages and disadvantages does play against the CPU have? Im a beginning SF player, and Im wondering if my time spent on my console is actually going to do me any good when I try to make a name for myself at the local arcades.
Playing against the CPU can be good to learn priority on moves without spending years in training mode, and also is a good place to practice execution in a fight. The actual game flow is different in a game vs a live opponent, though.
5-6 stars seems like a good difficulty setting. Anything higher then that and the CPU will start DPing you out of 4 frame startup moves and such. Morrigan will do it anyways.
