It’s really cheap over at Game Stop now, I’m just reluctant to buy it again because last time I played I couldn’t find anyone online…lmao.

This is a game where it can go from dead to alive and well depending on the time of day.
It’s unfortunately random, though like most games it’s more active on the weekends.
I don’t know how the 360 community is holding up, but PSN is still going pretty strong.
It’s probably a good idea to add a regular if you plan on getting into this game, that way you can get invites when shit starts going down.

The frame/range abuse is real.
My favorite thing to do is to charge up a KWH when someone is just out of reach, then let it go, and watch them run in to attack me during my recovery animation and then get popped like a zit by the ridiculous active frames.
It’s worth noting that the best way to get matches in this game is to set them up on Shizz’s stream. Everyone usually shows up after a while and if we get enough people it has a tendency to just grab 8 people in the chat and go private, saving us a lot of headaches about team structure, map choice and having to switch modes the long way. However Shizz’s internet has been acting up a lot in the last week or two so everything’s been more sparse. I’ll make a post next time he starts but you can also just follow him normally at http://www.twitch.tv/anon7906 .
Also “Quick Match” doesn’t work, it will 9/10 create a game where you are the host, instead of sending you to an open lobby.
Instead go to “Custom Match” set everything to “any” and search.
Didn’t know Shizz set up private lobbies, shit, I better get on that when he gets back.
Damn, AR is a game I loved dearly, and still do, alas I had to quit multiplayer rather soon mostly because Europe. I still pray occasionally that, I dunno, a drunk Nintendo exec might shell for AR2 or something, ahah. Still sour this didn’t receive the big support it deserved.

Now the first time, I didn’t even leave the damn room, if you didn’t notice, my character was there, but wasn’t moving, sir.
I left to answer the door for my dad, because you know, he’s my dad.
I didn’t leave the lobby, because I didn’t want to have to get back on and look for another lobby in the wasteland that’s is this game’s online. I hoped I would be able to finish my business with him before the host left the game, but by the time I got back up there, it was done.
If someone is mad that they’re losing, wouldn’t it make more sense for them to straight up leave the actual room their in.
And I’ve been bopped by worse, for longer periods of times, without quitting, other Anarchy players as my witness.
And we’ve both been playing this game for a year or two, why would you assume now, after all of these months, that I would suddenly decide to start ragequitting over nothing?
As for the as for the second occasion.
The only times I have ever quite a game have been the times where Tag Battle pairs me with someone who doesn’t know how to play the damn game, because fuck if I’m going to get double teamed by everyone in the lobby for an entire game. Josa as my witness on that, as I talked to him about it before and after I left the lobby. I have no qualms with losing, as long as I have a fair chance at having actually fun. And if you tell me that you’d sit in a tag lobby with competent opponents, grouped with a guy who is below level 10 or at least plays like it, you’re a damn liar.
Besides all of that, I have nothing to prove to you, dog, as we’re rarely on teams anyway, and you’re exactly a star player or anything like that.
Now, you can squash this unwarranted beef based off of some kind of stupid assumption that me, or anyone else who plays this game regularly, actually cares enough(I don’t know what they would care about, because there are stats or ranks in player match) to rage quit in a TDM lobby, or you can keep on with your ignorance, but it after now, it won’t matter to me.

I don’t trust myself to go to the bathroom 2 feet outside my door when I’m sitting in a lobby, so I usually leave a message with someone I know in the room (because 9 times out of 10, I do know someone in there) and just check up with them once I get back. Or sometimes I just hold it for the 10 minutes and get bodied for it. >_<
More often than not, the lobby is still filling up by the time I get back or at the very least I know that there are at least 8 players online at the time. At that point I’ve already got someone scoping the room out to invite me when it opens back up, so I pop into practice mode or the Music player in the Gallery and wait it out.
It’s like, the most terrifying thing to start a tag battle, look Neon/Deezee/Shizz/etc. in the eye immediately and realize my partner is idle. I just grab throwables and pray a LOT that they find a team that can actually put up a fight instead. =_=

I know the feel. Back when 8-9am est was peak for team battles, I used to have to cook breakfast while waiting for matches. I’d have to stay in the room because it would go anywhere from 5 players to a full 8 in the span of like 30 seconds. Downside was that people rarely stayed in the room before the countdown finished.
Sometimes I’d end up having to walk away from the match to flip my eggs, add cheese or something.
Did the one year anniversary event happen yet?
Yeah. There was a community one on the 8th and then an actual “play with pg staff” in late january which was pretty lame, from what I hear.
