That loop is great, the grounded jab lets you track them instead of needing to hold the stick perfectly toward the enemy the entire time. You only get two reps on females, but you just do another aLKW after the last aLKW and it kills the Rins which is good enough for me. I still get a grounded HKW instead of the AAc most of the time though.
But, speaking of that doing H > neutral jump l > aLKWx2 is like 75% by itself, should be very useful for quick damage.
Also, when did everyone switch from KWL to LWK? I still type KWL/KWH every time out of habit.
Hey discussion topic: What do you think about the “glitches” in this game? Do you use them? Do you think they’re bad to use? What do you think the “glitches” in this game are?
I’ve been reading into the thoughts of other players on this subject. Most of them seem to be butthurt about this game’s mechanics and think players shouldn’t use them to be good. I could care less and use anything the game has cause its all fun to use.
I think some of the glitches are fine and neccesary. The game’s mechanics are so flawed that having a way to one shot someone after you get around the bullshit, helps remedy the flaws somewhat. Plus without TC, a bunch of characters will become even more obsolete than they are now. Even with the glitches it’s still ridiculously hard to kill people without outside help or catching someone by surprise, and the perks just make it even harder.
People can talk all they want about “skill”. It’s in the game, so they are forced deal with it. True skill is still being able to win even with all bullshit on the table.
AA canceling and Twitch Canceling are necessary monsters at high level play.
Pretty much agreed with Gomu, I don’t like the double KWH or OHKO baron glitch but to be honest… this game is broken no matter how you play it. Discussing what you accept and what you don’t in a game this fucked, is stupid.
I agree with gomu. Preach it brother! Twitch canceling isn’t really necessary more than half the time. It’s nice and can do some amazing things but it is not worth complaining about it. Use it if you want it has its uses and is really great against those who are addicted to blocking. AA cancelling is a great thing it definitely helps the males especially. Its a great thing use it. The shit I dont like is the one hit shoryuken KO’s. The one thing i cant stand, however, is the bayo glitch. 90% just like that, it’s bogus. Not to mention some players literally don’t know what punching is with bayo. They just do this while you’re in a tire, fighting someone else, or even if there are no distractions some just spam this and get lucky once in a while and they continue to spam it. Then there are those who actually combo into it ugh, at least they have brain cells but its still annoying. That glitch needs to go
I believe in playing on a leveled field. I don’t do things that someone can’t do to me.
Like if my opponent doesn’t know TC or AA, I wouldn’t do it to them but those who like doing the Bayo glitch, I say it’s open season on them. Especially if that’s all they do to try to beat you. But then again, this game is pretty much broken all around with no chance of patches. I’m fine with the glitches except for the Bayo glitch. You put up with alot of bullshit in this game, but Bayo’s crap is something I cannot deal with.
Air weak can combo into a ground launcher. This is on a GROUNDED opponent. Not a relaunch.

With douglas the window is very large because you can input his air punch very, very close to the ground. It only works with these 3 characters because their air punches create a stagger hit-stun while everyone has an air punch that is “flinch” hit-stun on connect. Tighter window for garbots, practically have to be perfect so it isn’t realistic for them.
Overall, less useful for garbots because they have W-AA already but very useful for dougie because the only other way to open people up is W-W-AAc or W-W-H. This gives you a new way to start a high damage combo. Very very dangerous. Douglas is not to be fucked with. The more I find with him the more convinced I am he is god tier right under Bayonetta.
I inadvertently figured that out from unintentionally dropping jump loops with him, his j.L is slow enough that he can time the second one to cancel the recovery right as he lands from a forward jump, but it does also mean that his j.L is slow. Still a j.L I guess.
One of these days I might stop mashing DA, but until doing so no longer makes me giggle inside… yeah
As for glitches, I agree almost word for word with ErotiicOreo. Cancels aren’t glitches imo. Well, in a sense they are, but not in practical terms. Baron’s OHKO and Zero’s double-HKW are annoying, but can be mostly avoided in larger modes. It’s Deathmatch and especially Cage where they piss me off. I know there are some “skilled” players who like to magic-stun opponents, than lob of 90% of their health and taunt about it next round. And when you hit them with their own bs, it does normal damage. The Bayo glitch is the one that pisses me off if any mode, especially people who rely entirely on it. I mean, you aren’t good for fuck’s sake. The best part is that there are quite a few of these players on 360 and what they’ll do is enter a lobby, glitch everyone and come out on top, but when people pick characters to counter them, they’ll just leave the lobby because they know they’ll get wiped, and they just want the “last laugh” or something. The glitch is no where near as broken for other characters as it is for Bayo. Hell, it makes Nikolai a more viable, but it makes Bayo straight-up broken.
