I’ll have to test more.<br><br>I agree with all your requests, but I think a Jack buff would make him too powerful. It’s true that he is maybe the most balanced character in the roster, but a good player using Jack can get around his weaknesses, thus a buff would be dangerous…<br><br>And I just remembered another thing:<br><br><b>Game Balances<br></b>Remove the glitch that allows you to do Air Killer Weapon Weak -> press and hold Heavy button. The Air Killer Weapon Heavy triggers and it only drains 1 Killer Weapon bar.<b> </b>(that’s right I’m a snitch and I’m telling P* about this exploit :p)<br>Remove the glitch that if you press the Killer Weapon button after a dodge, the dodge counter resets, that way you can dodge without penalty more than 3/6 times. Ok great, glad to see some interest! <br>I say let’s keep it low profile though, I really like your ideas Pterodactyl but anything that involves new animations or character models is probably pushing it. nerfed Cybrid Joe/Barbot and Cool Max would be very feasible though, since all the assets are already there!<br><br>I suggest everyone interested in this list to post every thing they have in mind even if it’s been already said: ideally we should poll every option presented but it’d be quicker to just see what ideas are most commonly shared. Or just quote chunks you agree with to show your appreciation.<br><br>Anyway here’s my entry for now, feel free to address my points and suggest better solutions:<br><br><strong>Character Balance:</strong><br><br>Jack - <br>Slightly increase damage and either slightly increase range and speed so that he has better combo-ability or add some power armor to differentiate him further;<br>For instance, weak, weak, strong could allow for a follow up, as his strong, strong; his dash attack is probably the worst of the cast, it could use either less recovery or power armor or a more staying offensive hitbox.<br><br>Rin Sisters -<br>I suppose this will come in agreement with everyone, nerf air weak KW like Pterodactyil said, especially Ai Rin;<br>add recovery time to their 360 to make it punishable;<br>the second part of the attack in strong, delayed weak, strong, hits 3 times and I find that rather easily stuns counterattacks. either:<br>make it able to hit only if the first hit launches;<br>tweak the stun system so that such quick hits lose the priority they have now.<br><br>Bayonetta - <br>agreed with Pterodactyl here as well.<br><br>Zero -<br>I think Zero is the right kind of strong, but his heavy KW could use a little nerf. Either slightly more startup, or shorter range in general or at least shorter range to caught players in his cutscene attack.<br><br>I am not too knowledgeable about other characters, but I guess Sasha horrible startup on 360 could be slightly buffed.<br><p><br></p><strong>General Balance:</strong><br><br>- Fix the air weak KW into air strong KW free cancel glitch, or at least make it so that it actually consumes the KW stock;<br>- Fix the infamous laggy Baron glitch, and any similar situation that might be less common(I heard Sasha can do this too?);<br>- The damage on air weak KW that produces some sort of air dash should be more consistent with all the characters, Max damage is the lowest but also quite fair considering what kind of damage most characters get out of a air weak KW;<br>- Slightly decrease  grab-tech window;<br>- Maybe make it so that grabs aren’t tech-able in particular situations, like Max reversal, recovery on missed heavy KW?<br>- little tweaks to the stun system in a way that characters with fast hits aren’t so advantaged, same for guard breaks;<br>- Master Evader and Guard Master should either receive a nerf or an added disadvantage, ME like it is now could have its guard gauge diminished by 50%, GM instead could have shorter dodges;<br>- I could see Charge Attacker slightly decreasing charge times in addition to what it does already;<br>- Infinites!<br><br><strong>Online System</strong>:<br><br>- Ability to restrict region would be good in a way and bad in another, but if the Baron glitch were to be fixed I wouldn’t really mind anymore;<br>- It would be nice to be able to see a list of open rooms to select from;<br>- when the host leaves the room, there should be an host change instead of closing the room.<br><p><br></p>Also, I wanted to address guard management, but now I am a bit uncertain about how guard works, I read that guard resets when letting go of the guard button but I’m not too sure since testing in practice mode with the cpu on standing, guard on damage, it seems between guards it recovers over time, but certainly doesn’t reset. Now that I found those combos I posted I can do good damage and all, but I always feel like I’m the runner up. The problem is not much that Jack sucks, everyone else is so crazy that instead of nerfing everyone to hell It’d be be better to just buff him and the lower tiers.<br></p>

Glitches that most of the cast/everyone can do should stay, they make the game interesting IMO. They all look pretty cool and add some variety to people’s kill patterns.<div><br></div><div>Keep the glitches.</div><div><br></div><div>The two I think should be looked at are Leo and Zero’s ground KWH animation lock glitch that lets them land two in a row, and Baron’s 1 hit kill lag Pimpryuken glitch.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Jack needs something else, he’s just too standard at the moment and standard is a big weakness in this game.</div><div><br></div><div>You can still wreck with him if you’re good, like most of us in this thread are, but it’s obvious he’s lacking in all departments.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Another thing I just though of is maybe making the tech window on standard character’s grabs be a little slimmer, and keep the two-person grabbing big character’s grabs the same. How exactly do have to tap KW+whatever attack?  Seems like you have to tap it extremely quick for it to work.  Like really fucking quick like you’re barely touching it.

Seems like it also depends on the attack. I can do it easier with Oinkie than I can with the rest of the cast.

Any normal that can be canceled into a KW normal (even Zero’s final light chain can be canceled into one even though it’s late, so he is one of the few that can do full light chains and keep them going) can be canceled this way except air ones. Doesn’t work with KW normals themselves of course.<div><br></div><div><br></div>
