Sorry about that rimrattler, I was in a middle of a campaign fight and plus earlier my NAT was at moderate so I had to get that fixed(I have my 360 on a static IP address that usually has me open but sometimes my router forgets I opened the XBL ports for it).

Tried to join but it seems full, tried to add you on XBL but you list was full as well.

I’ll start removing people to make room for more dudes. GT is in my sig.

Anywho this is how I thought the story was going to go: Max’s red eye condition would eventually be explained as a virus, implanted into him by unknown assailants to cause havoc within the BPD (?) and throw the unit in disarray. Eventually through their individual investigations Leo and Jack figure out that it was Nikolai who was the culprit that implanted the virus into Max, causing the events that unfolded for a higher purpose.

You eventually learn he was working with Jamestown who was an ex BPD agent that fell from grace due to Max’s investigation as a rookie agent, forever being outcasted from Mahblahvillion and plotting a method to destroy the corporation.

Instead Jamestown was just a crazy Master Roshi type in the desert, the Red eye thing really isn’t explained, and Nikolai is simply just a dick.

The story isn’t exactly well explained but from what I take this is the most logical explanation:

[details=Spoiler] Max was head motherfucker in charge at the BPS for a while but after a civilian(Jack’s daughter) was killed during a hostage situation by a member of the BPS on his watch(who did it who is never said but Max said he didn’t do it and its safe assume it was Nikolai, and I think this was a part of his plan) he became depressed and alcoholic. Nikolai being the power thirsty cunt he is took advantage of this and hacked Max’s shit through the BPS’s computers. Every time Max had gone berserk in the story I believe Nikolai caused it, instead of it being random, even when the BPS encounter him in Hong Long. I think Nikolai caused him to go berserk during this fight because he knew Max wouldn’t be much of a fight(and he wouldn’t seem as guilty) unless he appeared to be violent. This is also why Max killed his wife, a part of Nikolai’s plan to gain control of the BPS, setting Max up. This is also why Nikolai wanted Max dead so badly, he didn’t want any evidence left behind, and he didn’t want Max to break free and stop him.

If you remember the scene in the desert where Max mutters tearfully “I’m sorry, i’m so sorry, I knew it wasn’t you, I know you didn’t do it. But I needed a suspect you understand? They all wanted it, the pols, the police, the judge, the goddamn family. You…You were the lamb…The sacrifice”. When you see that you think “What the fuck is he on about” but i’m certain he’s just repeating what the voice in his head(Nikolai) told him, he doesn’t understand who did this to him but he remembers what they told him. Max getting all red is the result of the virus/hacker taking over him and making him crazy.

Max was the only person in Nikolai’s way so Nikolai decided to find a way to both ruin him and destroy him, though he ultimately failed.

Because every character in this game is broken/OP to some degree except for him, he has nothing spectacular making it hard to get kills with him and easy to kill him.

Good points all around, it’s basically what I got just it was messy to distinguish. But the only thing I still don’t understand is how Jack, Leo, and Blacker Baron also had the virus thing going on at brief intervals. I also think Douglas was wasted potential in the story, I had thought he would have a bigger part overall.

Going to do some mad survival, anyone game after this match? PSN of course.

Can someone tell me if I hit right stick while targeting it’ll change targets? I keep trying to adjust my view of my target and end up switching then die in a few seconds from an unseen enemy.
