Thanks for the tests and matches X. Not sure what it was about my/their connection at the end but that leo was doing some really odd stuff. Like I remember one combo he literally managed to somehow reset himself back to standing position and start wailing on me, as though my combo that had been hitting him up to that point never had even happened.
You tech charge grabs once the normal grab animation begins. If you press grab during the run you get thrown. It’s actually a fairly legit mixup to do a charge grab to someone just within normal grab range, they react to the grab startup and press grab without realizing that they have to wait.
I usually wait until I see the satellite laser blink the third or fourth time before dodging it, I don’t think I’ve been hit with one of those since the NA version launched.
This is somewhat disappointing, I was never a fan of trying single jab relaunches online (Jack can do it too). Guess I need to go practice it sometime then. Maybe after a single rep of that Zero could still combo into standing KWH? Fun.
no he has fucking stealth to start with and knows how to spam 360 attacks. Fuck that guy with something hard and sandpapery.

As soon as the actual throw starts. Not while they are running with you in their hands. You try to tech when they are running with you and the throw will happen no matter what.
You can dodge it. It’s kinda hard. Dodge when the lights blink. That’s all I can say. A little bit after the lights start to blink I dodge and I usually dodge it. 360 attack doesn’t work for every character. I know I can’t do it as Gargoyle/Garuda and everyone I’ve witnessed who tried that with whack bots ended up dying.

Really having trouble landing Ai Rin’s heavy attack as a punish. Can someone confirm if you can block the wakeup spin-a-roonie thing and punish it? I’m starting to feel like practice mode is being generous.
NInja edit: I’m feeling like Ai rin has a heavy infinite loop. If you time heavy pause heavy properly, you can get a hard knockdown and repeat it. I’ve done about two reps but my timing is bad. Maybe someone else can pull it off.
It would be better if you avoided it instead if you wanted to land a heavy attack, as the game I believe does have a sense of block stun.
Luckily the Rin sister’s delay L is great for baiting 360 attacks.
Yeah, that’s a known infinite. All the Rins can do that.
Hmmm I’m trying out the Sasha Infinite with the dummy on Tactical Roll and they roll out of it mid loop.
All video of this infinite is with the dummy without roll on.
The specific moment is right after the two air weaks, they roll immediately before standing strong can connect.
Works for me. Are you timing the two W’s in the air right? Do the first as soon as possible, and do the second as late as possible. Mash out the standing S and it should work.
Heh, I was about to come running back and edit my post. I just timed the air weaks correctly.
So I was grinding out the Leo juggle infinite in training mode and does anyone have any visual cues or anything they use after the AA into the WKW? It always seems like a crapshoot to me whether I’m going to get it close enough to the ground to continue the loop or not.
That Sasha Loop can start with an instant anti air strong too. At least with the dummy standing still.
What I can only describe as sort of a “p-link” of the jump+strong at the same time seems to do the instant anti air.
