I think it’s only the unannounced stuff that’s affected. Mr X said something similar in the thread about Sega, and I have no reason not to trust Mr X.
I really, really, really hope so. Granted, it would seem almost absurd if it actually DID get cancelled due to the amount of work and advertisement that’s been put into the game so far. I mean, they just recently announced Bayonetta for god’s sake! If it got cancelled, then that would be a bigger cock tease then…well, Bayonetta.
I’m not too concerned about a cancellation, but news like that always gives you a reason for concern.
It’s not like another publisher won’t pick Platinum up. I’m not worried.
Anarchy Reigns is safe imho because it’s so close to completion. I know platinum titles are niche when it comes to the western market but the critical acclaim actually helps. I am more worried for the future of Sega just pumping out Sonic because they know it’s safe. Contrary to what we think of Sonic now those games still come out on top in sales compared to all the other Sega titles.
I’m not gonna lie, once Anarchy comes out I really don’t care what happens to Sega. Platinum will probably find another company to publish their stuff and Sega stopped being cool in my eyes pretty much after Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, so…yeah.
Maybe EA will pick Platinum up, ahahaha…oh.

Yea platinum games is safe, lets not forget they are also working on MGS rising, ill be very surprised if they don’t find a home away from sega(if sega crumbles that is).

I wanted a DC. Saved money for 3 weeks (SUPER hard for me cuz I spend money fast) and when I got back to the flea market that had it, it was gone 
Traumatized my 16-year old self.
I played the crappy A3 port that had crouch cancel taken out & 3s with no Urien unblockable. Played the hell out of the Shenmue games and the Sonic Adventure series. Platinum reminds me so much of the dreamcast, to make games fun. Triple A games have turned gaming into movies with little interaction, it’s a crime that Vanquish sold poorly.

I rather give my money direct to people who are making games the right way, and as we all know, company responds to sales.
I’m not sure how preorders from amazon, ect. is done when companies look at sales. I’m just saying, that’s just a personal thing on my part. I just want these guys to know we got their backs despite all of the other trashy games get more exposer.
hell, look at the front page. this game is a fighter/brawler but since it isn’t Crapcom, it’s ignored. They mentioned Rearmed and Final Fight many of times.
not saying that Sega is going under and PG will go down with the ship. this game deserves more love. I’m just saying, if we have to do more then lets do it.
Keep the hype up for the game and spread the word. Lets not repeat Vanquish.
