I found this list that might help.
I’m going to take a relatively long cab ride to Fazoli’s. It’s a fast food Italian place with the best breadsticks in existence and I haven’t had it in like 8 years. They don’t have them in NY or TX and I miss it.
Cross the freeway, yes. End of the strip, don’t think so.
Googled it. Apparently there are 3 of them. i’m referring to the one off Dean Martin Drive and Tropicana and it is about a few blocks away. Probably wouldn’t walk there from Ceasars unless I didn’t mind the weather. 1.5 mile distance.
Stuff like In-N-Out or Sonics your going to need transportation to get to. Even if the distance doesn’t seem too far, on the strip, it takes forever to get to anywhere on foot. And keep in mind the insane heat at any point of the day.
Best to get a couple of people and get a cab and split for fare.
There’s a McDonalds and a chipotle across the street from Caesars too, if you’re in for fast food its a lot closer than exalibur, and no casino markup at all.
(in between Harrah’s and the Casino Royale).
If you have the time I suggest that you find a cab to take you to a Safeway and stock up on some food and water to take into the hotel for some emergency late night food. It is always good to have something in the room just in case.
Walgreens is also within reasonable walking distance if you need some junk food or soda or something, it’s a bit further though.
Ellis Island Casino…make sure your Karaoke game is on point because they take that deadly seriously over there.
Download the EVO APP. tells you lots of.nearby grub with price levels
It’s pretty darn far iirc.
For cheapness, go to McDonalds across the street (go towards Imperial Palace, go past it to Harrah’s, go past that and it’s right there).
For 24 hour convenience, go eat 24/7 Pho in Chinatown.
For burgers, go to In and Out (overrated IMO)
The 24 hour buffet pass is kinda a waste of money if you plan on trying to do a lot of gaming related things. Its value comes from being able to go to a variety of buffets and you don’t really want to walk to different casinos to try their buffets especially if you want to keep up with what’s going on at Evo.
Yeah the Walgreens next to the venetian is like maybe a 10 min walk from Ceasers, I always hit that up for some food/drink supplies, also I think last I remember there is that McD’s, Ben and jerrys, and dennys? on the same side of the street walking towards the walgreens. I know Osheas is closed/gone so I’m unsure of where a subway could be?
Imperials definity is pretty good with the Hash house a gogo for meals you will get amazing portions for a great price( esp breakfast) I also like the pizza palace in there to for all you can eat pizza/pasta for 10 bucks
Also the EVO app does have the resturants in Ceasers too so check that out for sure for everything even non food related
All i read was chipotle and my eyes lit up
Omg that walgreens is one of the main factors why i've stayed at Palazzo on my last 3 trips to vegas...so convenient and literally 3 minute walk from my room. Also the grand lux cafe in both the venetian/palazzo is one of my favorite restauraunts in vegas...its owned by the cheesecake factory people but to me much better...oh well ceasars has cheesacake factory so thats where im grubbin during Evo
Gotta admit, 1-2 meals a day there when I’m at evo. It’s really reasonably priced for the serving sizes and its waaaaaaaay better than the McD’s upstairs.
Ben’n Jerry’s is in the same little nook with the Chipotle and McD’s. According to maps there’s an outback there too, and a panda express if you want cheap chinese:
It’s funny that 98% of those places listed are almost nowhere near Caesars or the strip.
Honestly, if you’re on a budget, just eat subway. It’s cheap and is filling, can be saved for later and can kinda last a while.
Oh I forgot Excalibur has this little chinese place that has pretty good prices, I dunno if they changed but last I remember it was ok… Keep in mind I’ve been out here for like 3 years and purposely avoid the strip so I dunno how prices have changed or not.
Where is a subway around there anyway?
Per the map, same area as all the other Fast food, (mapped to above) but maybe a block off the strip. I see now there’s also a Denny’s about a half a block up.
It WAS at O’sheas but apparently that place is closed.
Yeah. I remember that there’s a Panda Express in Miracle Mile which is a mini mall on the strip: http://www.miraclemileshopslv.com/dine.php
