Fair and nair are the best. Nair alone on bigger charecters can and WILL rack of the damage fast.
One that i use works several times and does good amount of damage until they hit a certain percentage… is Dash A (it has to knock them upwards) follow up with a back air or if you get above them spike… usually they wont have enough time to recover from the stun from the dash attack woks wonders to… you can attempt to follow up with a PK Flash if you manage to connect the second attack since Ness does have an awkward yet high jump it should connect
Down Air (Opp is on the ground) then Up A while on the ground (not smash) if it connects follow up with any air attack hell if you want you you can try and spike and try to do that combo over and overor to make life easier Down Air (opp on ground) and then spike them back down most combos should end with spike or Back air since its Alot easier to conenct in this game than in melee
Also i Prefer Ness over Lucas… regardles Lucas does have a good Up smash its just as lethal as Pk Flash… and Flash use to Edge Guard especially against Marth, or the Star Fox Crew

those combos will only work on people who aren’t touching the controller
ive caught people in it online and offline and my friends and i play competitive… on top of that one of them is the 2nd best in his univeristy =P
Im surprised no one has mentioned the lol kill, sometimes ppl think it is a smart Idea especially in free for all to do an up B at this point dash up and gently push lucas/ness off the edge they can’t do anything it counts as a suicide and you will get them so mad, plus its classic don’t expect for it to ever work again but its still hilarious. *can also work with pk flash but its far more risky and more difficult and requires your opponent to be brain dead.
another lol kill is eating there up B when they are trying to recover, if you know they have to do an up B just jump down and don’t attack and get hit by the up B, and then just recover, this is probably how about 1/3 of the ness’s and lucas’s die around here. *some projectiles can also steal the thunder but they are not common so I would just jump down, and take the 7% damage or whatever it is.
Im not a big ness/lucas player since I suck at his recovery 
, but many of my friends are so I know tons of cheap kills against them which you almost need cause ness has some retarded f-air pressure, and lucas has a bunch of good moves.
Why isn’t anyone really mentioning lucas back air that move is a sick poke, especially with a fox trot, plus its a low damage killing spike off the edge.
learning the wavebounce is great with all characters but because lucas’s over B goes straight, it can be become pretty annoying but still not on the level as thunder-shock, or a pit arrow, as long as the arrows are fired inconsistently.
most combos in brawl have a good chance of working as long as you have a few alternatives and know how the opponents DI can work against you.
For anyone to use Pk thunder besides as a Recovery use or Finisher. and does it on the ground shows there stupidity in playing ness or Lucas to get pushed off the stage
ohhh I know its stupidity mind you my friends who actually play the chars don’t do it, its normally random online matches, or when my friends get them on random and don’t know what the hell they are doing and are just playing around with them, the thunder steal for recovery does work against good players though, so you can kill them early as well to counter their supra throwing powers.
PK Thunder Kill really works well for Lucas, I’m not even sure if Ness can kill someone with his thunder XD
