…Pinapple on pizza…

Fuck man if you never had pineapple on pizza

I have. Could’ve done without it. Wasn’t terrible but it didn’t seem like something you’d order again.

I have, that’s why I know it’s a terrible topping. Like I’d rather have anchovies. And that is a low tier ass topping.

Low tier taste in this thread is more like it.

Pineapple shouldn’t be the only fruit on pizza. Maybe add watermelon and peaches.

Pineapple
Watermelon
Peaches

Mouth watering as I type.

Thin crust.

Black olives
Spicy beef
Red onion

And instead of marinara sauce, that white garlic pizza sauce.

You are literally a child.

What the fuck.

Okay, I can understand that you like pineapple but it does not belong on pizza. It doesn’t interact with the pizza at all. It doesn’t work with the other toppings or flavours in any way. You reach a chunk of it and it’s just like well here you go taste some pineapple because you’re not tasting anything else this bite.

There’s no synergy. At all. It’s just fucking pineapple zones all over your otherwise normal fucking pizza.

I fucking love pineapple on pizza with bacon and jalapenos. And nothing anyone says is going to make me not like it, lol.

If it doesn’t belong, why is it an available topping pretty much anywhere? I don’t think I’ve ever been to a pizza joint where pineapple wasn’t an option.

Here in Idaho you can order fucking potatoes on pizza.

meat lover only no homo :relaxed:

I know this is all about preference, but saying something like “pineapple doesn’t go with anything” kind of shows how limited your scope is. Some people like sweet tasting pizzas. It is common to have a Hawaiian-style pizza with pineapples and ham. We recently made pizza with a pesto sauce rather than marinara and it was a lot better than I expected.

I’m with this guy:

White pizza with olive oil. Basil, garlic, and some mushrooms

Pineapple on pizza sweet and savory. You got the sauce that adds a spice/sour element cheese as that taste. Then you go with salame, pancetta, or any good deli meat (not pepperoni) and you are good.

My other go to toppings are artichoke, roasted red pepper, and if you got it eggplant parm

Anchovies is not a low-tier topping. If you like capers on anything you eat, you will love anchovies on your pizza.

edit: anchovies, capers, chopped red onions <-- these 3 work well together

As i stated earlier, pineapple mixes well with specific toppings. Hot peppers, jalepenos, ham, bacon, mushrooms…all amazing with pineapple, on a pizza.

That’s like arguing that pineapple doesn’t belong on a shish kabob.

Ever since I discovered BBQ base, tomato does nothing for me anymore unless it’s true italian style pizza.

the problem is, a good tomato sauce, while rare on most pizza’s, is definitely superior, however a weak sauce is worse than a weak bbq sauce, therefore a lot of people do BBQ pizza. Although I admit, a BBQ sauce pizza, with chicken, mushrooms, and hot peppers, if you wanna splurge, some olives, bacon, and/or extra cheese, splash of hot sauce, and BAM, you’re golden.

WTF is wrong with you???
