Alright so it’s been a while and everyone has had tried out what they wanted to. Japan has made their opinions known, and all of the match-ups and pairings are all but played out. So I think its fine time we established a tier list, just so we can all know where everything stands.
Just because you main it doesn’t make it good; no spamming how much you think Anchovies are S-tier.
Also just because something is low tier doesn’t mean it isn’t worth trying. Who knows: you might be the one to show us all how wrong we all are about Pineapple.
God tier

Top tier
Pepperoni

Mid tier
Chicken
Green Peppers
Onions

Bacon
My cousin likes getting pinapple pizza, then topping it with red chili powder and mayo. I was like “WTF” but it actually wasn’t too bad. I guess we could take in account seasonings to help out some toppings in the tier list, since they might move some stuff around.
WTF how do you not have Spinach in Top tier at the very least?? in Theory it has 9-1 match-ups again cheese, pepperoni and all the other mid tiers sure no one is winning with it but that’s only because the execution barrier is too high. But still given a few more months and depending how the meta-game evolves Spinach could easily end up God Tier by the end of this game’s lifespan. Also fuck Tomato sauce shit is so beyond broken
What about the other “toppings” such as dried oregano, those AWESOME red pepper flakes, granulated garlic, grated parmesan, or freshly cracked black pepper?
Also, Sauce and Cheese shouldn’t be in a god tier by themselves. Sauce, cheese, and crust is what MAKES a pizza. It’s like saying “Sandwich filling tier list” and putting “bread” at the god tier.
As for my favorites, I’d put pepperoni in the god tier by itself. My favorite pizza is a pepperoni and mushroom pie from some of my local Brooklyn joints. Which is weird, because I generally don’t even like mushrooms all that much. I’d put up a large pepperoni and mushroom from Brooklyn up against any pizza, anywhere.
Pepperoni, sausage and bacon is the magic combo, folks. Little Caesar’s has this as their “Meat Trio” and it’s GOLD. It has actually spoiled me… a “meat lover’s” style pizza is only “alright” to me now if there is no bacon. As with so many other things in life… bacon is that magic ingredient that elevates things to the next level. It’s almost not even fair to compare other toppings to this incredible combination.
On a sidenote… I still think people should probably be arrested for putting mayo on a pizza. That is sinful.
