Made use of the ULead GIF Animator… Rreduced file sizes by cutting our colours (which doesn’t look that bad from the original), and reducing canvas size. I altered bits of the content from the original shinryuken, mainly cinematics and dummy poses when hit.
Read that old Akuma II Ultra topic again, Mr List suggested checking out ULead GIF Animator, I put some ugly finishing touches on it. Watcha think?
I was looking through the 100s of images I uploaded on imageshack and I came across my old pivot animations I used to do for shits and giggles whenever I came up with something. I stopped because I ran out of ideas as to do what. I did one of a guy doing a dp and instantly reminded me of this forum. Pivot is a program on PC where you can animate stick figures or any objects that is made. People have made rifles and master chiefs but I like stick figures on its own. Here’s some of my old stuff. I might try doing this stuff again when I have some free time in the near future.
Guy 2 says: wut you got beef? Slow-mo Slap*
Guy1: SHORYUKEN!!!
enjoy.
I hope i’ll pick up on this again and do SF-based movements. I’ll try doing Ken’s Ultra I since that’s what drawn me to SFIV in the first place. or a Shippuujinrai Kyaku
I made some other ones where there is speaking and stuff. I invite viewers to make up fitting dialogue of it.
B: King of the jungle! Swingin’ from limb to limb.

B:No I wanna keeping swinging, douche.
G: DOOD YOU SEE IM HANGING ON LIKE NOTHING?! LOOK!
B:V%$#SES$EBRY
G:EWBES^&B$%VSEYN% I’ll Kick you off! tries to shake him off
B: You’re dying with me! *hard tug Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!
G: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

G: oof Whoa I live, I AM SUPERMANNNNNN
R: SUPERMANNNNNNNNN?!!!
G:Ahhhhh!
spinning on the X and Y axis is easy, but using the Z axis is kinda tough with pivot. The old dp animation i did looks okay but all it looks like really is sprites but flipped on the y-axis when the fist turns past the body.
if you’re seriously interested in Pivot animation check out Stickpage forums they got tutorials on many different animation programs commonly used, including pivot.
i haven’t made anything smooth as balls because I have to dedicate so much time into it which I don’t feel its worth, anything you show them will have constructive criticism tied along, but its good feedback almost always if you put effort into your animations.
Hah, I used to animate stick figures, years back, I was pretty good at it too, but if you want to do anything properly good, look into getting flash, or at least the trial. I’ll download pivot, and see if I can still do it.
