Word? I realize my phrasing was odd, I mean to say that like… sagat stand fierce isn’t really good in any other games I’m aware of. So it’s not a button you would default to, not knowing the game.
Sagat’s cross up is fireball, fireball, slow fireball.
While it’s definitely useful, if your playing Sagat right, your probably not going to get many instances where jumping midkick is used. If you get a knockdown, do a meaty fireball and put them back into lockdown.
I could see Ricky/Eman going far with O.Sagat.
I think it’s worth going for when you get a chance to crossup. Say you get an anti-air uppercut… You can tiger knee in, crossup mk, c.mp, c.mk xx tiger knee or tiger shot and sometimes this dizzies. Free round. I know the safer option is meaty fireballz but I don’t know. Worth knowing. This is more geared toward N Sagat I guess. Obviously all you need with O sagat is gross ass tiger shot.

I played a few games today - the 1P stick in the ST cab feels fine now. Also, they’ve started painting the back room to prepare for expanding the arcade, so things might be a little messy tomorrow while stuff is being moved around.
In other news, I officially start working part-time at PG next week! So yeah, I’ll be working on the inside to help accommodate everyone in whatever way I can.

Hey guys, just a note about doing the PCB swap… It seems that one of you swapped out your PCB on Saturday and left without hooking Alpha 3 back up? I didn’t find out about it until Sunday night, and I’m not going to be able to get in to hook it back up until after they close on Monday, so that’s 2 1/2 days that the cab isn’t making money. That’s a pretty big problem for me. See, the guys at PG don’t have anything to do with the cabinets and don’t know how, nor do they want to know how, to hook up a PCB. They see it as my business, and something they don’t want to screw around with and potentially screw up. Fair enough. But that means if you guys are going to be doing PCB swapping, I really need you to be sure to leave the cab in the condition it was in when you arrive, meaning Alpha 3 (or whatever PCB is in there in the future) needs to be hooked up and working.
I know it sounds like a minor issue, but the argument I had with the PG guys over this last night was really not fun and it all kinda cast a dark shadow over the whole “let the players mess with the cabs” idea, which the PG guys were already not super thrilled about in the first place . I think it’s great that we’re doing it, though, and want to continue to do it, so if you could make sure to square everything away with the cab in the future I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
