Haha, those sound like they’re the ones! That’s funny that you worked on them, I bet we could exchange some pretty funny stories. Do you know who painted the missing sideart on Enduro Racer, for example? Some of the hacks/fixes on these games were downright hilarious. I had a whole lot of them at first: Sega GT, HOTD, Enduro, Star Wars Trilogy Deluxe, Sky Target, a couple hunting games, 5 showcases in all, and several others that I’m forgetting.
But yeah, I actually have a second Drummania at home and in the past owned a third partially-complete one that I gutted for parts, so the first thing I did when I got that Percussion Freaks was pull all the pads and totally rebuild them with all my spare parts. The thing is rock-solid now, running Drummania V3.
By the way, these games are at the U District Pink Gorilla, not the International District. It’s a full arcade. On topic, I won’t be able to make it out to this, I don’t think. I will be judging a canned vegatable competition at the Tacoma Harvest Festival at around noon, and I will be hanging out with Erin for the rest of the day. You guys will probably play till 9 or so anyway, so maybe I will find my up by then and say “…yo .”
Third Strike is definitely a possibility if the demand is there. Basically I’ll get whatever you guys want to play, if it’s even remotely affordable. In the case of 3S I have the motherboard already, so all I really need is a working cart. Or someone who can revive one of my 3 dead ones (not possible last I checked, since they’re US carts).
I’m stopping by. I’ve known the owners of Pink Godzilla/Gorilla ever since Nathan worked at Nintendo for a while. Plus it’s funny how I was mentioning to him how awesome the UD store is compared to the ID store this last PAX.

You can usually find me or Marus hanging out between noon and 4ish almost every day. I either finish class before noon or have my last class start at 230 after getting out at 1130 every day so thats usually when i head there. Dustin also shows up around noonish too, but as he said before he usually shows up later.
In fact, I think he is trying to start a tuesday or thursday session on the regular that goes until 6 or 7. So you should look into that with him.
A fair number of us should be showing up starting at 2:30 or 3PM. If you play MvC2 or ST, you’ll be able to get in a few games with some mid-tier players.
