Pablo give me one of your ST boards!
I offered to rent a house with you on the south end. But you flaked. Which means you fall under the same category as Airthrow. When you keep company such as that, you might as well just kill yourself.
$1230 per month for a 3 bedroom. I had to pass it onto Brent. Shame.
Population: 6
Sad but true.
All weirdly biased casual sf2 player comments based on outside influence and not experience make me laugh.
All posts by the dynamic bayside duo seem fill the role of a particular bronze bison…makes me cringe.
HeavyD, son.
We don’t play 4 for the money and style, we play it because it’s what we got into first. Derp.
O.Fei long c.mk is too legit.
o.fei is way underrated, low cancels to rekka so good
So is anyone going tonight? Plans fell through so…yeah, just wondering.
I plan to be there tommorow. Probably around 5.
I will be there today, probably around 2
I’ll be there around 3pm - see you folks there!!
awesome… awesome to the max
That chicken man has extraordinary musical abilities. I’m profusely impressed.
I’ll be there around 5-ish. Went in to work and I wasn’t scheduled today:woot:
leaving now, be there soon!
Disappointing turnout today (although it was good to see you there James!).
If there are only going to be 3-4 people who show up consistently then I vote we just move our gathering to Zass’s cab…
sorry i didn’t make it out today, i’ve been pretty sick lately and didn’t want to spread my germs around
we can’t just abandon the arcade! i’ve waited my whole life for a real arcade with st! i think maybe if we organized some kind of tournament or event we could get more people to show up, what do you guys think?
it’s hard to blame newer people not wanting to spend money learning since st matches can be over so quick, it can really eat through your quarters fast. too bad there’s no option for 3/5 rounds, that would be perfect
No worries man, I wasn’t blaming anyone at all.
Is there a real difference though between playing on a cab in the arcade or playing on a cab somewhere that isn’t an arcade?
And if I’m going to lose 50 times in a row to you and zass, not paying for it somehow takes the sting out…
Where is Zass place at? What kind of cab does he have?
I also agree w/ Axel on this geo, playing at the arcades is just a different experience altogether…I think having gatherings & maybe have a tourney every two weeks might get better turnouts?
Also, anyone down for some HDR online? I believe zass said he would be down with it, geo, no hard feelings Axel? HeavyD & Doughboy? Rick James you two down?
oh i didn’t think you were blaming anyone, just giving my excuse anyways
there’s no difference at all, but it seems like the owner has really tried to accommodate us, just up and ditching the place wouldn’t really feel right to me. and very few people in the usa can say they have a real arcade with real st in a real japanese cabinet in their area, you know?
a public place is also more welcoming to newcomers since they don’t have to be invited or anything, they can just show up whenever and test their might. although like i said the game is so brutal it’s not really welcoming in any setting lol, all the more reason to bring it as hard as you can every game, fight your hardest every quarter! yeah i know that’s easy for me to say, i’ve had years of free practice, but fighting for your money is even more incentive to improve
maybe i’m just overestimating the interest in the game like i always do. where are all the real street fighters? bring it on!
i’m willing to run tournaments/ranbats/dan battles/whatever if we can get a solid number of players, maybe i should make a new thread about it to gauge interest?
rcaido: i would be in, but i don’t have a 360 stick anymore. one of these days i’ll hook my ps3 up again, but ps3 hdr is gross haha
