You will soon face the Immortals. They have served the dark will of Persian kings for over 500 years.

What can you do? What will you do?

This morning i woke up to Thug Mentality… T-h-u-g we be…

Traian let’s do it.

Chinese players beast me too hard.

the new sf movie looks like it’ll be just as good as the old one

What are you joking?

Fucking sick cast and they are filming in Thailand.

Clocktower. They have thier own brewery inside the joint.
Tuesdays = 35cent wings (which are extremely good) and 3.30$ pints of their house blends (which are extremely good).

That is one happy ass song to wake to. I wonder what it’s like to rob someone with a smile…

The thailand part sounds cool but Kreuk actually pulling this off is going to be a miracle. I don’t even think it’s possible for the movie to not work around her limitations…it VERY much like the situation with having Van Damme as the lead.

EDIT: Taboo is Vega! That is flippin hilarious!!!

i’m was more concerned with the writer Justin Marks and the director. The writer had written He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and if that movie is the same one i saw, that’s one of the worst movies in the history of movies. The director just gives me mixed emotions because I dont know how influential he was in Doom, Cradle 2 the Grave, Exit Wounds, and Romeo Must Die.

and can the awesomeness of Chun-li and Balrog over power these weird castings

the director tends to be the biggest influence on the quality of a film. I actually like the BEP guy for vega.

I think every detail of the movie is sketch…

The best are those two casting though. I don’t care if they have a young Gen, if Taboo plays Vega (that can actually work on many levels…the first being that Vega doesn’t talk much)…
but Kristin Kreuk is a one-dimensional actor to say the least and she has nothing legitimate that would justify her casting.

All Kreuk is, is a cheap means to get people to watch this movie. I wouldn’t even care too much if she wasn’t such a far contrast of the character.

Bartkowiak and Marks on this project is potential disaster for this to be a cheese fest but they do have potential to make something cool…just doesn’t seem likely.

The only thing that can save this movie is a pair of Kreuk titties.

ImperialSport picks Grey Yun
Cb picks Purple Yang

ImperialSport: Now you’re in trouble. I got a special Yun.
Cb: What? Is that supposed to be my color or something? I don’t pay attention to girly things like color.

    • *start of 2nd round
Cb: Yo wtf! I thought I was Yun!
      ImperialSport: !!!

Ggs.

Kreuk’s body of work only suggests that she would be the perfect candidate. All she does is fantasy movies and over the top teenage dramas. what more do you want for a video-game movie? and she’s worked in south-east asia(India). I think she’s an un-tapped resource who’s waiting to explode into a new medium with a part that suits her perfectly. And if that wasn’t enough she has every good action star working with her, people who are extremely versatile and experienced. And those people wouldn’t have been cast if they had no chemistry with the star. The stakes are to high for her to fail, and she has to many powerful people behind her to let that happen. she’s gold.
That said, an easy going director like Andrzej Bartkowiak is an excellent choice. Someone who has worked with a lot of good young actors, and has the age and pollish that only experience can bring to a project. Also, this guy has worked for mannnnyyy years as a cinematographer on some amazing projects. He seems to be a guy who is focused on how a movie looks and that’s fine with me since streetfighter doesn’t need anything but.

My concern lies with Fox and Hyde Park. although these studios do suggest a darker grittier movie(which would be sweet and which suits the cast), they also suggest an editing room consisting of scissors in the hands of two-year olds. It would’ve been nice to hear who’s editing this thing or to hear that the dircetor had editing experience but w/e i’m fine with the fact that he doesn’t and studios always have the final say anyway(especially fox), nothing you can do there.

In terms of writing. I have no idea who this guy is. Haven’t seen any of his movies. All I’ve read is that he doesn’t intend to write anything that doesn’t interest him, and what does is fantasy action, and working on independent films wiht his buddy Brad Furman. Furman has a very intersting body of work though and has worked with many young actors aswell. Also he was assistant to Julia Roberts twice. Very interesting.

so far I’m thinking GREAT action movie, and I really like the casting.

And I really like the addition of Gen and the incorporation of the alpha sreies!(the only games with a story)…will Gen be the one to teach chun-li lightning legs since he wields the lightning fingers? I see Gen as one of CHun-li’s contacts in the underground. Someone she would have to trust even though her best-judgment would tell her not to.

O BTW, Jesse is getting trees today instead of tomorrow.
