Good info about the New Hampshire primary ‘surprise’ victory. Details are interesting but just the situation as a whole is fucked up and obviously sketchy.
Ryad and maybe Steve, I am at Vaan’ Level 6, Balthier Level 6, Fran Level 6, and Basch Level 8 (he just joined my party). I am stuck. I can’t get this big gate to open because the “fuse is blown” in the power and I am going in circles and circles searching for a solution but haven’t found one. There is just this alien-looking guy sitting on the floor who sells me weapons and that’s it. I looked in GameFAQS.com, but FF 12 is their most popular game for PS2 and there are a million FAQS with different titles that are trivia, like “how to find all the quests” and BS like that. All I want to do is get out of that room and turn the fuse back on so I can once again progress through this amazingly, at times, constraining game. I also rerad in one FAQ that by now I should be at Level 30…?

After the Rogue Tomato hunt and before breaking into Rabanastre Palace.
[Objective]
Level Vaan, and Vaan only, on his own to approximately Lv 25-30. Acquire
Monographs, as well as some decent equipment, before breaking into Rabanastre
Palace.
First, why do we level Vaan by himself? Because Balthier and Fran join at
Vaan’s Lv + 1, and if that spread is then maintained, Basch, Ashe, and Penelo
join permanently at Vaan’s Lv + 2. That saves you a lot of trouble from having
to level up the other party members. So we start with Vaan alone. You can do
this either before or after the Sunstone quest in the Giza Plains with Penelo.
Start by heading into the Estersand and chain Wolves when Vaan is by himself.
This will bump him up a few levels and will also net you a decent number of
Wolf Pelts to sell. While you are doing this, you can attempt to acquire the
