Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble viewing images from photobucket?
I tried to long in earlier to upload some avs, but it looks like it was hacked by atspace.com . I hope our accounts are still intact along with our images. :wtf:
i just logged in now, and everything seems fine.

Really? WTF!? I can’t even get to the homepage.
I prolly have a virus or something that’s redirecting me to a different site.

Weird that us peoples in Yuma are having trouble. Anyways, I can see the site again, but I can’t view any images still & I can’t log in. It says my password or username is incorrect. I clicked forgot password (even though I didn’t). I guess I have to add them to my “safe list” since I’m a Hotmail user. How would I do this?
I went to Option>Safe & blocked senders>Safe mailing lists, & from there I’m not sure what the mailing address is for photobucket.
Photobucket was hacked:

I had problems going to the site/viewing PB pics until maybe 3 hours ago.
edit It WAS fixed, now I’m having problems again. =/

Dam those hackers, thinking the can fuck wit da PB
I got the fix:
BIGWORM:
After an extensive call with Comcast Tech Support (~half an hour), we were finally able to get access to PB for me back online. I’m based out of Visalia, Ca (Central), so I am typing proof that this works–otherwise I wouldn’t even be on this forum.
Anyways, it comes down to 2 simple steps:
Flush your DNS
Done/said multiple times before (Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig /flushdns)
Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > Right-click Local Area Connection > Properties > Scroll down and HIGHLIGHT TCP/IP > Properties > click on the radio button "Use the following DNS server addresses:
Preferred is going to be: 4.2.2.1
Alternate is going to be: 4.2.2.2
press “OK” to close out all open windows.
BAM! Like Emeril, you’re back up and running. I’m also able to view pictures posted through tags on forums. Full functionality has returned.
Can I get a hug?
I finally bit the bullet and called Comcast, but luckily they had a fix.

I just got on & this popped up:
IMPORTANT! Photobucket.com problem read here:
Last night Photobucket.com DNS at register.com was hacked by malicious people that are trying to compromise our business!
We are in no way affiliated with such bad deeds and cooperate with photobucket in capturing these individuals.
They have pointed the domain photobucket.com to an account hosted on our systems!
We have blocked that and photobucked techs have restored the domain pointing to its original location!
ALL account information and pictures on photobucket.com are OK, please have patience!
Unfortunately the complete DNS replication usually takes 24-48 hours and during this time caches DNS records might still point to us!
The normal operation of Photobucket is restored and as soon as the replication is complete there should be no further such issues!
We would like to emphasize that we are in now way responsible for what happens with photobucket and all users bumping across our systems!
We are a legitimate web hosting company operating since 2003 and in no way tolerate such hacking attempts!
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at abuse@zettahost.com !
Thanks for your patience and understanding!
Looks like I’ll be stayin’ away from PhotoBucket and usin’ the other free alternatives.
Eh, I’m too lazy to login into PB anyways. ImageShack and TinyPic ftw!
Note: SRK Albums Assist works too.
Uh, once you heard it was hacked, why would you even try to log in? You’re just asking to get your PC raped.

I didn’t know it was hacked when I was trying to log in. I could see the site & everything. Later I couldn’t. Then BIGWORM confirmed it was hacked…all my work & stuff is on PB. :shake:
Oh well, whatev…
