Hahaha. Me too! I miss them girls. I was gonna mention that I miss Quezon Ave… but it might make me look sick. But it’s just so true! They don’t have no Q.Ave here. I brought a friend from BC with me to Pinas a year ago. When I went again last month, he insisted on going back with me. He actually wants to live there or retire there.
Also, is it just me or is the Philippines becoming a more “sexy” country. For reals. It’s like half naked people on billboards everywhere. The girls all look more fit and sexy, and (not to sound gay) even the guys are trying to look like studs.
I really feel like I’m missing out on the action.

LOL. i think it’s just them being or wanting to be more westernized. to tell you the truth, sometimes i think we’re stupid LOL. like, the highway is supposed to be 3 lanes, and the people make it 5 or even 6 lanes. also, they buy huge vans and SUVs when there’s hardly any space to drive them to begin with. the society as a whole is being geared to spend money they don’t have :shake:. like, we’re a pretty damn poor nation, but we live so extravagant lifestyles.

so anyway. vancouver seems like the place to make money but not the place to spend money.
if i was smarter i wouldve dropped out of school at 5. worked till i was 18. and then opened up a business or invested my 200 grand. all the while doing correspondance for the important stuff like english or taking night school. i might not know what the capital of north west territories is but thats a sacfrice of many id be willing to take…if i could live all over again.
or how about this. do that…and then say fuck it and move to the phillipines with 200 grand.
man…school here is a joke. i think about what every class is. you want to learn how to ovenbake. first you goto school. first day is introduction to the teacher, classmates. overview of what the course is about. 2nd day is a reading assignment about kitchen essentials. third day is another assignment about 101 ways to cook food with salt. next class is a quiz. write like a page essay on why you think putting kitchenware close to the refridgerator is a better idea than away from the refridgerator. then the next week you learn about the pioneer of cooking apple pies. the man who invented it or popularized it. you learn about his childhood. his secrets. how he died. his voyage across the seven seas. then you have to memorize 200 facts about him and write a test which goes into your cooking mark.
