I’m having an issue of consistantly doing the Phantom Move after Samurai Edge( :f::h:). Not sure what the timing should be or whether the shot has to hit in order to work. I’ve watched various videos etc but still, online/offline/training, I can maybe get 1 or 2 out of 7-8 tries.
Any advise?
Also, would I be correct to say that no matter where you are on the screen (except in the air) :l:= infront of enemy, 
= away from enemy, :h:= above enemy?
just practice - the shot does not have to hit to get the teleport.
and no, Wesker’s ports will put him a set distance from where he is, it doesn’t take into account the enemy position like Dante’s.
If you’re having a lot of trouble, just do the actual motion after your gunshot.
I’m not very good with the SRK motion unfortunately, so it’s about the same as hitting :l: :h: after :f: :h: for me lol.
On a side note, I did get the move to come out about 2 out of 5 times last night, so I think I’m getting better. I just wish I could find a video on how everyone executes it (like hands and screen shown at the same time).
Just practice. Anything new takes time and wont be easy. Just experiment around with the timings over and over and over and over until you get comfortable.
Mash harder. Seriously. Not gonna lie, after a gun shot, I mash on my button like at least 6 times. Once you mash it out a few times, you’ll start to get the timing of when the teleport’s coming out. Plus, the teleport will get easy to spot after you get some matches in with Wesker so you won’t accidentally mash out a button after the teleport.
