personally, i had hoped that people who have a problem with these kinds of games would have more of a problem with the current trend of japanese anime studios and fighting game developer’s way of thinking it’s ok to sexualize young girls, other than just all-female casts.
in before some makes a perverted joke about underage girls in combination with sex.
in before someone calls me gay and points to my screen name while they’re at it.
i’m going back to duty in afghanistan in january, happy holidays!
Why does Mature with demon kukris look more masculine than the two male characters? If it weren’t for the fact that I can sort of read Moon, I would’ve thought this was an all-girl fighter too.
Sadly, it seems that you need a premium account on Nico Douga for this streaming (i just have a normal account) so i hope someone will record this an upload to youtube (or even Nico Douga) in a few hours… crossing fingers, because all this project is pretty interesting.
Shit has date now: April 28, confirmed by latest Famitsu (???4/28?[360] 5pb???). Pretty sure that this weekend the Nico streaming will get some videos.
Sadly no one captured a video or something… Japan stick to the rules once again.
In other news, the French Bread (Melty Blood) Blog says that Phantom Breaker is developed by a lot of ex-Fill-In-Cafe staff. If you don’t know what is the meaning of this, Fill-In-Cafe was the guys who made Asuka 120% BURNING Fest games, an almost-popular cult fighting game most famous on their Playstation/Saturn versions.
Just curious, but with the recent news of the devs of OMK thinking about porting it to the 360, would the opposite be the same with this game? Then again, you’d need a hell of a computer to be able to run this game and I think this game would require higher computer requirements to run smoothly :x
I was meaning to translate that article, but never got around to it. Thanks for bringing it up, lol.
What Hayama is saying is true. The development staff is indeed former members of Fill-In-Cafe. The article doesn’t really reveal much about gameplay, however. But most of the cast apparently share nearly universal command motion sets (just like how Asuka 120% is).
Also, there will be 2 more characters… one each from 5bp.'s own Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate games.
