Phantom Breaker: Extra - Available in Arcade, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (in Japan)

phantom breaker has its problems, but this isn’t one of them.

Well, I’m hoping this will improve on all…well, most of the faults that was in the original game but mostly the controls & animation. Outside of that, I pretty much liked the rest of the game.

While I do hope for improvement too, I hope their subtle with them as mos of the game was alright. (The back ground can stand to be resigned…preferably 2d)

<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>So to think this game digital spin off is release before its before original retail version leaves a sour taste. But I’ll get it as still loks fun I do like the series.</span></font><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”><br></span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42K7mhDwI_Q</span><br></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”><br></span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>soundtrack seem better this time around.</span></font></div>

I laughed a bit after finding this on the Xbox Live Marketplace website. I’m currently using Yuzuha since everyone and their mom is using Mikoto at the moment. I find Yuzuha fun to use with all the teleporting and grabbing she does.

Please let this come stateside…

so what happen to another code arcade release?

Finally, Europe will get to play this.

I’m going to import the PS3 version. They’re up to a pretty decent size roster by now (18?!). “Enhanced” system and mechanics according to the producer. And online spectator mode ftw.

So phantom breaker extra is out, and the 360 version is region free.

The game is also available digitally now in PS3 (JP PSN,) and On Demand in 360 coming 9/24 (JP XBL, ).

360: http://bit.ly/1erZ8Nv (Price is 6,400 Yen)

I just recently dropped a combo vid for Extra. I’m really digging it. It’s a -big- improvement compared to the original Phantom Breaker. Animation’s more smooth, controls are much more responsive, the game doesn’t feel all slow and sluggish and has in general been sped up a good bit, and they tweaked certain things about the system to make using the two styles very, very different, so it’s actually really interesting.

Surprisingly good game despite the utter lack of hype.

thread title changed.

The’ve really did some improvement to the game with out altering too much from vanilla.

Yay Phatom breaker finally get some attention. While it some what covers basic, some of the nuances and other stuff seem inaccurate.

The news headline is rather wrong in the fact that the game is not on the HK PSN Marketplace. I’m very disappointed in this because I don’t want to go through the JP marketplace and pay $100+ worth of PSN money just to get a $70 game.

Does it have online mode?

Yes, it does.

Actually, it is on the HK marketplace, on 360. I’m on there right now. It’s cheaper there, too. Are you on the 360 or PS3?

(Hoping I’m doing the image thing right. =p)

The 360’s side. As I don’t have a PS3, I can’t give concrete confirmation, but checking around, people are saying it’s up there too, still.
