Phantom Breaker: Extra - Available in Arcade, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (in Japan)

Filthy americans don’t understand or deserve graceful fighting unique nippon game.

Type Moon and French Bread want to be hipster companies by not making a lot of money.

People actually excited for this game makes me sad. :frowning:

No ps3 port?

This

Don’t you know? It’s cool to be hipster by not making a lot of money.

If this game sells more here than Sengoku Basara 3 did here, I’m going to cry. :shake:

Now everyone gets to enjoy my pain.

Just played the Japanese demo.
I have to say i’m pretty excited for a Jan. 31 release date.If Amazon is correct.

Sitting in europe waiting for either another localisation announcement or news of the american version being region free.

Feels like we’re back in last gen, still at least it’s South Peak so there may be some chance of it getting over here.

how legit is this? http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=8583086

:expressionless:

Can someone explain what the Styles do?
I can’t find an explanation anywhere.

Welp, evidence is starting to pile up for this game to be localized in America.
Just noticed they “liked” Phantom Breaker on FB.

Though I haven’t play this for my self yet. An article noted how the style seem to be similar to “The Last Blade 2” Power and Speed system.

Confirmed for America at last.

Awesome.
although the game has a lot of flaws, i think it is still fun to play. Probably will get about no attention in America though.

Oh man as long as i love fighting games in general i am pretty sure this will be butchered in reviews and here, i don’t know… this is pretty rare to say from myself but maybe this is one of those games that it will be better to stay in Japan…

Holy fuck French Bread, what the FUCK are you doing wrong when a game like this can make it over here?

FUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Probably not wanting or caring about getting their game over here and making no attempt to have it come over.

This game actually looks pretty fun, but Amazon has the Special Edition pegged as a Feb 28-29 release, which would put it in a bad spot for anyone who’s also interested in SFxT. Had it been released in December, I would’ve definitely ordered it since I haven’t really had much to play… and the calendar that comes with the SE would’ve made more sense if you got it before the new year started.

Between SCV, Skullgirls, SFxT, and a bunch of other stuff I probly forgot, that’s a pretty scary time to release something like this :stuck_out_tongue:
