We just like seeing you come around and cry like a little girl when people shit on your stupid game, talkin like you know jack or shit about anyone here beyond the forum.
I agree with much of what you said, but if you believe that there is no connection between the health of your body and that of your mind, then you’re delusional. A good game requires multiple aspects in order to be considered good. That’s why we reject 1-dimensional with win buttons. Cue the Dead of Alive tournament where the dude one it using only sweeps or grabs or some shit because he found a way to get infinite frame advantage. Cue SNK vs. Capcom where having meter pretty much made every move you perform a huge risk. Guard Cancel Forward Step into infinite combo = win button.
A good game = you have to think. You cannot just “oh, I’ll punish that with standing strong…” and win with the minimal effort of moving a single finger. Your body and mind must be in union, and that’s only for execution. When strategy comes into play, it’s the player who was able to maintain the most focus over the game while training as well as while in actual play, that wins those competitions. I.E. the most healthy players who are able to practice the most and the most efficiently.
Healthy body = healthy mind. That’s not to say that a person who looks unhealthy (let’s face it we’re talking about fat people here) like Justin Wong or Marn can’t be good at mental tasks like competitive gaming. But if you’re some looser who doesn’t take care of yourself, you’re not going to excel at very much. I am willing to bet that most of those guys are healthier than we give them credit for, even if not at NFL or NBA levels. But then again… how many people can say that they are?
Auto Racing is an extremely physically demanding sport, depending on what kind of racing you do. You have to maintain your weight. Every pound matters. Also, taking fast turns consistently over the course of 20+ lap race is hard on the body. You’re in an un-air-conditioned car with practically no interior perks like your Honda has. The entire thing was build for speed and safety only, not comfort, and that translates into everything from the seats, to the suspension to the wheels and tires. Oh, and you also have to pay 300% attention and make split-second decisions or else you die in a horrible crash.
So yeah, it’s not fair to say that competitive activities like gaming and racing aren’t sports because they aren’t as physically demanding as traditional sports. I mean, do you consider bowling to not be a sport too? Billiards?
Finally, there is precedent for gaming leagues becoming formally recognized, as pro League of Legends players are legally considered professional athletes in the United States.
Like I said in my first post here, if you want your game to be recognized, then step the fuck up and make it so. League was having problems with teams not being able to compete because they couldn’t get visas for foreign players. They stepped the fuck up and changed it because their sport is legit and they were able to prove it.
Training regimens. Well then. Community member here you come if your community also has tech talks. Some gaming communities, absolutely do not and use the same bum ass 2001 controller.
FIGHT vs C-STICK
which might have invaded our community with that 3rd party accessory branding bad PCB garbage :bluu:
Bang Bang? Is this some new internet lingo that hasn’t made the rounds to the old folks home yet or something? What the fuck are you bang banging about?
Of course you’re not salty tho you need to label people charlatans for not liking your game, and claim they lack dedication because they don’t like your game, make the wild assumption that people think pewdiepie doesn’t have a real job (how the fuck is this even relevant?) even tho it’s super fucking clear what his day job is, have to make claims of jealousy over people making tons of money without lifting weights (still completely irrelevant to the conversation, and doesn’t matter anyway since lifting and making ass loads of money have close to 0 correlation) but you’re not Salty. Right.
You’re throwing a temper tantrum because no one here gives a flying fuck about your game. I don’t need to cry about Smash and Pokken taking up stage time, I just turn the stream off and do somehting else till something I give a shit about is back on the stream. Like this is a fucking non-issue you’re trying to blow into a big production all because no one here cares about Smash.
You can try and “bang bang” deflect and claim you’re not crying all you want but it’s pretty painfully clear that this strikes a nerve with you every single time it’s brought up because you leap to it’s defense and throw out hilariously random and weird accusations each time it happens. It;s fucking weird. For someone who claims to be so self confident about their game you do a shit job showing it, and half the reason anyone here continue to shit on Smash, myself included, is because silly fuckers like you come out of the wood work when it happens and it’s fucking hilarious.
I mean shit dude I actually like Smash, even Brawl. I just don’t like your watered down boring version of it, that’s all.
racing a car raises your heartbeat to near heart attack levels and you lose a shit ton of weight due to heat, plus fatigue. You have to have some level of endurance.
It’s still not a sport.
THe problem you faggots have is that the word sport has been made synonymous with athletic competition. And that’s wrong. I can kill animals for sport and trophy, I can shoot guns for sport.
Still LOL at chess, fishing, car racing, or video games being on the same tier of sport as basketball, soccer, or football.
Then how come JWong wins all the time while having the body health of Foghorne Leghorn? How come 3rd Strike is so loved when Chun and Yun and Ken pretty much win with 1 button?
e-sports as a whole is trying too hard thats why nobody likes it. they constantly scream SPORTS and ATHLETES in our faces. smashfags DEMAND recognition as a FIGHTING GAME instead of just enjoying their fucking game.
you dont see this in actual sports. you dont see boxers going IM AN ATHLETE RESPECT ME all the time. boxers are called boxers. baseball players are called baseball players. chess players are called chess players. racecar drivers etc etc, only these video game wannabe losers are the ones who constantly scream ESPORT ATHLETE and its rly fkn annoying
