Oh, I thought the problem people had was with smash and/or leffen. I didn’t expect such disapproval of esports being considered real sports on a website such as this.
But since that’s the case, can anyone actually tell me why they think esports shouldn’t be considered real sports?
It’s a thinking game, sure, but sports denote something of a physical aspect. Yeah you need to push buttons and shit, but you don’t need to go to the gym to keep your body in pique condition to do that. All you need is a Red Bull, a couple of pills of Adderall, and possibly some cocaine to wire you up before an important match.
I always laugh when this subject comes up, mainly because no one gaffaws at the concept of something like competitive chess, but then proceed to lose their shit over something like this.
Because competitive chess players aren’t crying about not being considered “athletes” and coining dumb ass terms like “e-sports” to describe themselves.
They also aren’t acting like entitled douches over their fucking game to the public at large.
Fuck E-Sports. Fuck Leffen. And especially FUCK THE SMASH COMMUNITY.
Your pants are too tight and too encrusted with unidentifiable (without a dna test) substances to allow you any chance of ever doing anything that isn’t some pitiful excuse for a manspread.
Competitive chess isn’t a shitty party game with made up rules. Lame ass fucking swedes/or whatever aren’t ready for real competitive anything with their pussy asses. The only thing they can compete in is educating their young into sitting while pissing.
