first off, clown, complaining is exactly why sent was nerfed in vanilla…so it works. it doesn’t hurt to at least try.

I mean…if we’re being serious, yes. I personally think Sent needs his health. I hate Sent, but I almost feel bad at how much of a mixup target he is.
But this isn’t the Sentinel thread and I’m not a Sentinel fan, so I guess that’s another debate lol. I think everybody here is saying that we Tron players were kind of left in the dust without so much as a push in the right direction. I personally believe that we still need to practice a lot more and find the right way to use her ourselves, but I guess not everybody feels that way Give it a few more months guys. I know it feels like we’ve discovered all we can, but there has to be more. J.Wong wins tournaments with IF and I just know that if one of us worked hard enough we could win a tourney with Tron (maybe second place :P). Nonetheless, you’ve got to be a little more understanding…from what I’ve read here, you’re pretty much taunting hostile Tron fans. Even if that’s not your intention, that’s kind of what it looks like.
Well since your responding in a reasonable manner i’ll do the same.
First i’m a Thor player so the Tron tears fall on deaf ear’s because at least you were viable at one time without perfecting that japanese defense and never missing a single mixup/command throw or dropping a single combo.
What everyone(nearly) here is requesting is beyond stupid it was breaking and that’s why she was so used,her old jump spam was one of the easiest way’s to happy birthday someone and once you had them her combo’s went on and on for days from a single lucky button press not smart pressure not out playing and surely not actually being better.
That’s why she was worse then Psylocke because she was a gdlk assist and a viable point.
All she had taken away was her stupider shit and now she’s suddenly garbage tier?

There has been no discussions of ways to deal with the change or what additional changes to what she currently has could be used to make her competitive.
Most games of this nature take years to fully develop and the playstyle’s change drastically during said time frame.

The intent is to play a char because the style fit’s you and you can work with what you have,not pick the most broken rinse/repeat.
Why do you think someone like Flocker came out of pretty much no where with a totally separate style at the time and blew everyone up?
He learned his toon,his team,what he could and could not do,and the matchup’s and he broke “Top Players” left right and center.
Granted his team was very strong but more so he developed a style that no one had really seen prior and crushed everyone with it.
No worries someone will find a really good way to use tron but jump spam 23104972340982134 times when more then half the people here use less then 1/4 of her tools and won was fucking stupid and got what it deserved.
Much like how you respect my reasonable response, I respect you being a Thor player. I tried the dude and he didn’t match my playstyle at all. You probably just like the character and don’t want or need anybody’s respect for that, but just letting you know that you have mine lol.
I guess it all boils down to an issue of self-entitlement. I’m fine right now with my Tron. There’s some tough matchups, but that’s what practice is for. As a point character, they’re supposed to get in with the help of assists. Now some characters are good enough on point that they don’t need that, but that’s them and every other character (including Tron) can’t be like them. Some peoples’ requests seem like they indeed want Tron to be an all-purpose Top Tier character and I agree with you that they’re asking for some ridiculous shit. I personally hate the scaling on her H Drill, but that doesn’t mean it’s totally useless. Even her J.h…if you hit the opponent with Gustaff’s armpit as opposed to the fist, you can still combo without that horrendous knockback. I feel like after a few more months, if every other character but Tron evolves, then maybe some buffs would be worthy. For now, all we have to do is grind it out. It’s not too bad. Get a beam assist and J.s is your best friend. It’ll save your groundbounce for later (which admittedly is already from Vanilla), but it helps with the combos. Most importantly, Tron players shouldn’t take to the air so much anymore. The air dash nerf is universal, so Tron is no different. Once again, a beam assist and some wavedashing will help close the gap.
Sorry if this went from a response to you into lecturing about obvious Tron tech that some people here surprisingly ignore. Haha.
