Whats up SRK? I was wondering if you guys could help me out here.
KoFXIII is a blast to play, but if you’ve only got a PC, there’s no way to get in depth with the game besides playing the outdated arcade rip, so I started a petition to hopefully get Atlus and SNKP to port the game to PCs. I feel that since the game already runs on the TTX2 board, the game should take considerably less effort to port than the average console game, and with the market out there of new FG fans coming in with SFIV/AE and the fans who play KoF on GGPO, it should be easy to turn a profit for them.
Normally, I wouldnt think petitions would hold much clout, however, Dark Souls was recently announced for PC and its very hard to say that the petition didnt influence that decision at all. Hopefully we can make Atlus/SNKP aware of the benefits of porting XIII to the PC. Im sure there are many PC players who would love to play this awesome game. Considering it was a stretch for Atlus to help SNKP bring KOFXIII on consoles in the first place, it’s doubtful. Considering they haven’t done much of anything for the PC market before, especially for fighting games…it seems highly unlikely. Your better off saving up for a console if you play FG’s…360 more or less.
Atlus has published a couple of games that are available on Steam before. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch for them to test the waters with a fighting game.
Won’t happen. Not trying to say do some illegal shit, but most likely KOF13 Climax is gonna get arcade dumped to play on PC. If KOF continues to sell well, I wouldn’t be surprised if it does comes to PC anyway.
I support this. It would be even better if they fix that netcode or improve that shit. I had no online game play on kof xiii as smooth as playing offline.
umm, the arcade version of KOFXIII runs on windows, there’s an arcade rip floating around, apparently it requires a pretty fast computer to run at normal speeds though.
