I am in total support of this. Catherine is crazy hype.
It was way more hype then “Certain” parts of the main line then last EVO .
But that may because of certain commentators .

I support this 100% on the sole condition that all Catherine players promise to refer to themselves and each other as “blockheads” for the entire Evo 2012 season.
I’ll only sign this if Sailor Moon S is the main event next year.
Catherine is indeed hype, and it has a substantial following especially in the fighting game community.
But… Catherine is not a fighting game, thus, it will never happen.
Catherine deserves more recognition, for sure. I think a side tournament is good enough though

Catherine has no reason to be at EVO. Neither did Mario Kart.

Not every fighting game player I know is a Catherine enthusiast, but every Catherine player I know is a fighting game enthusiast. I wasn’t surprised to see thread.
Catherine at Evo as a side thing would be awesome. I don’t know that it’d work out as a main event simply because it’s not a fighting game. :’<
Sounds like it would be a good idea to me. If they don’t give it good exposure then who will?
The only reason i wouldn’t support Catherine as a main game would be the fact that it would suck up time that could be spent for actual fighting games.
BYOC side tourney + money matches would be fine. It’d be hype as hell imo. I’d look forward to it more then SFxT, that’s for sure.
I want nothing more than Catherine to be a main event at EVO. If you haven’t seen the unbelievable hype in Catherine, it’s amazing. The game is just as balanced as SFxT.
That actually sounds pretty exciting, now thinking about it. It will be perfect for a side tournament, thought it would take a miracle for it to be a main line-up event.
