Yeah, but what do we do? How do we get guys like Valle, who used the PC version for those off-season Wednesday Night Fights, to say something? Mostly we just got “PC version is cool, also buy Alienware” while they’re running the game at 1024 x 768 and occasionally stuttering. The thing about the Street Fighter community is that so many people working in the tournament scene and even with Capcom are just regular guys who play the game, but they only talk about the game, and not all the technical issues Ultra has, Capcom’s incredibly slow support, etc. How do we get people like that to say on-camera that 2 out of 3 versions of the game are broken, Capcom’s support has been abysmal and insultingly clueless, and that shouldn’t be acceptable at all?
How do we get people to say to everyone that Capcom managed to break a game that worked great for 5 years, and is now too incompetent to fix it? How do we get prominent players to play the PC version on stream so everyone can see what a stuttering piece of junk it is?
Signed. I really have no idea how it could be released like this. Not only that but there has been no news about it being fixed other than that complete fail of a beta test. There has to be more that we can do to show our outrage, I don’t want to ask Combofiend on twitter because he’s probably not allowed to talk about it anyway. Maybe if somebody reads this and is going to the Capcom Cup they can ask him if he’s allowed to talk about it and if so what’s going on?
Mike ross, only seems to be playing the PC version nowadays and he shows and complained about the lag (valle was a guest at his house). He has also said he was “working on it” when it came to talking to certain folks at capcom about getting it fixed. There are also a few pro’s who has played and streamed the pc version and has also all complained. Capcom and steam are aware of the issue’s, they are just neglecting it.
Msg, valle or who ever you find the most credible FGC public figure about being outspoken about the current status of pc’s usf4.
Signed. I’ve had 95 % of my matches without game-breaking lag nor had any major issues but I can feel you guys. Reminds me of some games that had extremely shitty netcode.
Very rarely, even if the other player was outside Europe. Especially low framerate has been pretty non-existant. As far as I remember, it has happened only once.
Signed, I literally get stuck in the game in ranked, I can’t press any buttons, and the opponent just comes and beats me, sometimes this happens and i keep spamming buttons(cause the opponent is coming towards me) but the buttons come out like 3-4 seconds after so you will be seeing me spamming jabs and stuff:/, and like all of you guessed this is the GO sign for the opponent to just stomp me. Crapcom pls
Capcom doesn’t care, they have your money and the pc playerbase is much smaller than the ps3 and xbox. I doubt they will address it, they haven’t even commented on it despite the many complaints.
Capcom is full steam ahead on SFV. The most you’re going to get for netcode fixes are in this upcoming 1.04 patch. I doubt there will be anything else.
For me the netcode is alright. I get some spikes sometimes, but overall it’s playable. I think Capcom feels like that’s “good enough” when it’s really not – I hate getting a spike when I’m on a round deciding punish. But those are not frequent enough for me to throw in the towel all together. I’ll still play.
I think you could of worded your petition to sound more articulate, mature, and well thought out, it sounds like you are just complaining (which may be warranted) but i dunno.
I don’t think English is this guys first language. If you can write something up or create a more elaborate and polished petition, by all means go for it. I doubt he will have a problem changing it if it will increase signatures.
My mother tongue isn’t English either, but the problem I have with the petition isn’t grammar specific.
It’s the way he demands a refund coupled with an ultimatum,
I feel it’s not only the manufacturers responsibility to deliver a working product, it’s also us the consumers responsibility to not just blindly go out and buy broken products.
If Capcom knew they couldn’t get away with a product like USFIV, it wouldn’t have been made in the first place.
