So can you talk to the owner and schedule a short meeting with him (A day & time that is good for all of us)? Then we all show up to the meeting to give in our input on how we can get him more customers if he just gives in to our demands…
Peter Pan can be like the 2nd CTF for people who live too far to go there all the time…
Fix up SF4 settings and maybe use Jap parts, and I’ll actually go there again.

Well I think if we were to talk to the owner we would first need to come up with some reasonable ideas that would make the place a better experience…and I agree with Twelve one thing to start would be to have japanese sticks and buttons and he doesnt need to change everything around but at least make one of the two Street Fighter 4 cabinets have a Japanese set up and the same for the Marvel and Tatsu Vs Capcom players that way you want to use the crappy american set up its there and if you want to use the japanese set up its there…than there is the timer which is just stupid fast…I was told he did it to make more money but hes driving business away so…Tekken 6 is on a fast 40 seconds(wtf) and SF4 about 30 to 40 seconds(wth)…if not the time at least increase the rounds…I think thats a good start…oh yeah dont forget Blazblue :wgrin:
They should just copy the joystick/button set up from CTF for SF4 and MvC2.
And for Tatsunoko vs Capcom, they should fix the button set up to be just like the way it’s suppose to be. (and the joystick if possible)

so i spoke to the guy and told hime everything. hemade his points about this time being to fast. he explained about his investment reasons y its needs to be fast. i explained to him if he coudl check and make sure that its not on its fastest speed it would be appreciated. he also mentioned to me that he has no problems setting it to normal when there are tourneys. botton mapping he said just to email it to him. i didnt mention the thing about the jap sticks b/c there are many american settings for sf4 ,universal pinball i heard, svgl i seen, and ffa ive seen that has it. again not that i care but its not a must for it to be changed. he also aware of blaze blue and arcana heart and he woudl love to get those games but he woudl like to see teh profit that these games will give him first. makes sense. at the moment he told me that tekken is making more than sf4. so that is discouraging him to buying games neing that he already spent 13k on it plus having to buy the upgrade later. in addition to losing sales after console release. so long story short if we want more games there he needs more ppl to show up spending money playing the games. see it in a business perspective then u guys can see where hes coming from.

Well Im glad you talked to him and I understand his business reasons and Im sure he will keep the crowd that already goes there but he knows hes in a business that has been struggling so if by changing some things around he could potentially gain more customers…but thats neither here nor there guess I wont be headed there anymore…since I dont feel like buying a ps2 stick just to play extremely short rounds…but at least the option is there…and I was kinda joking about Blazblue because I know its crazy expensive…see you guys at CTF someday:rofl:

CTF it is even though, i’m not that far from Peter Pan…
went to peter pan once for the sf4 tourney. probably not going there again unless they fix the turbo timer settings. time always runs out on me after 30 seconds. its like that on the tekken 6 machine as well, dunno about the other machines. no point in me going there really.
are you saying to put jap sticks on mvc2?? I know the sticks they have are shitty but jap sticks for marvel is a no-go.
looks like everyone is boycotting peter pans. hopefully the owner see’s what he needs to do.

There’s a T6 Tourney at Peter Pan on 2/22 if anyone is interested. I dunno the details off the top of my head, but there’s a flyer on the front door and one on the cab.
i dont understand why anyone would go if they didnt change the timers.
